Edit: but maybe then they'd be the best brewery in the US

$12 for 500ML really is not pricey at all. Almanac sours are the same price for smaller bottles, Russian River is the same price (or more) for smaller bottles and Paradox sours are $2 more/bottle for the same size bottle.

Pricier than an IPA or stout if you're just comparing price/ML to price/ML? Okay. But for a barrel-aged sour it's priced exactly where it should be.

I liked Suarez so much that I swung back by a week later on my return trip home. Grabbed some Qualify Pils and Homespun. Both are near perfect.

I love this brewery. The tasting room, the service, and the beer. It's simple and it's comfortable. Completely unpretentious.

I am insanely jealous of you locals.

Can’t help but echo the respects on the Helles: Killer execution with a grainy, earthy, hay presence. Nice touch of honey and lemon with a slightly spiced (bittering) hop appeal. All accompanied by a soft, clean, palatable feel = Effortlessly Balanced. To add, the new blonde ale is extremely crushable at 4.2%: dank, earthy, piney, grassy, and citrusy.

Getting that out of the way, one can’t help but to always capitalize on Palatine while at the source. Such a sound, super refined, timely brew…Cans coming at the end of August

Can anyone recommend a campsite (tent only) not too far from Suarez? Looking to break up a drive from Montreal to NYC.
    Thanks

Do they ship? Is anyone going there in the near future? I would love some more insight. I recently had Slow Bustle followed by Anna for comparison.....Slow Bustle won because the funk was so fantastic. I need to find a way to get more.

They do not ship (unless policy changed in last few weeks).

I know this isn't the trade forum, and I am not offering to trade anything, but it is likely Tired Hands will get any Suarez you want. I do recommend posting in ISO, if you haven't already.

Whistlin' is awesome y'all. So delicious. Seems like the perfect companion to some pho, Thai curry or hell, even some tacos.

I love visiting Suarez. Such a great experience.

Whistlin' is phenomenal as I think I said before. That Domain blend sounds killer too. I've yet to experience anything other than being blown away and eminently pleased by Suarez's wild beers. They are the easiest drinking wilds I have drank to date.

This is only their second canning. I think the first lasted around two weeks.

did anyone head up yesterday and know whats to go and on tap and to verify they WILL fill 750ml HF growlers?

They fill just about any growler.

They haven't posted this week's beer list so I can't help you there, other than to see it realy doesn't matter because you will leave a happy camper.
