Not sure how good it is, not a home-brewer myself, but this > http://www.leeners.com/ is on old eight just south of rt 82.

I saw them, but looks like they're currently closed in order to relocate their store. Grape and Granary in Akron is probably my best bet...

ONLY $3/bottle, or $18/6 pack. At least it's slightly less than the grapefruit shandy.

Specially priced at $3 per bottle to go for a limited time only* before returning to the standard $9 per bottle.

*Limited time only = 24 hours

@tcorder219--any new CBC stuff for the fall? I expect we'll see the Creeper/Yakima/Sohio again for the fall. Any barrel program updates? I remember Steel Dawn being a possibility earlier this year.

Why does Hoppin Frog feel they need 12oz cans and 12oz bottles?

I hate when breweries do this, does no one remember when we were all outraged by the film Beer Wars and about how the big boys peddled their swillies in as many different containers as possible to dominate shelf space?

Just pick one or the other, the world already has enough Bell's, All Day IPA and Dogfish Head 60 min.

I don't mind, but it seems like it should be by style. It makes sense to me that something like IPAs will be canned (regardless of whether that is 12 or 16oz cans). Similarly, I think it makes more sense for stouts to be in bottles, since they are more likely to be around for a bit. (Cans do leak more than bottles seem to after extended periods of time.)

Otherwise, I see what you're saying.

Anyone else ever see bodhi stocked without a bottled date? Just saw this and was very suspicious.

No. Probably just got missed on the line. @tcorder219 may want to know though. They just bottled some this week also

As an extension of this - I have seen many bottles (including Mexican Cake) where the bottle IS stamped, but it is illegible because it is stamped on the wrong part, and thus occluded by part of the label or other factors.

Tony commented earlier in this thread that the 7/30 (or 7/31) bottles had some where the stamp didn't show up. I know there were other bottles that hit this week. Either way, 99% of the time you see Bodhi bottles on the shelf, they're probably within 2-3 weeks old.

Creeper scheduled for 8/28 and 9/18, as of now.
There's a possibility of another Lucy bottle drop in Sept, with a new yeast. TBD.
Yakima Fresh will follow in October.
Look for Sohio in late October, as of now.
Citra Noel will release in late Oct.
No update worth noting on Steel Dawn, or any other BA bottles.
There's stuff working in the back room that should see light in 2018.

Didn't know it at the time, but the date coder must've taken a break for an unknown number of cases on the 7/31 bottling day. And yes we did bottle again this past Mon 8/14.
Next Bodhi set for 8/24, to allow for Creeper on 8/28.

Not that I don't love CBC year-round, but this stretch from August through whenever Sohio/Citra Noel disappear is probably when I buy the most CBC.

Totally forgot about Citra Noel, I loved that stuff last year.

Has Dayton/Cincy gotten any Schlafly Pumpkin? Going to be in Dayton at the end of the month. Would love to pick up some. We don't get it in Cleveland.

And on a completely unrelated and separate matter, someone just told me that some Jackie Os dropped in Vermont. I have never heard of JOs distro outside of OH. Maybe someone bought it or traded and resold at a bottle shop in Vermont? Or is it possible that it actually got distro that far?

The Vermont Jackie O's thing was a one-off. Check the New England forum as there is a whole thread about it.

Someone else earlier in the JO thread mentioned it in colorado also. Assuming it is the same thing, but I never checked.
