Yup..To me it was like a slightly beefed up version of Hop Hands.

 

I would agree with this, was a fun novelty in that it was a HF collab and it's good but not anything special.

 

Yep. If they never brewed this one again, I wouldn't miss it.

Depends on what else they release with it I think, it was a HF collab so that might still get some traders out there.

 

The first batch was excellent.. They've released it 3 times with a different hop combo in each version.

Copy + Paste (October 5): "Galaxy, Amarillo, Crystal, and Simcoe"
Copy + Paste (November 30): "Simcoe, Amarillo, Mosaic, Centennial"
Copy + Paste (April 12): "Amarillo, Simcoe, and Mandarina Bavaria"

Stop throwing mushrooms in hoppy beers, it just makes them more expensive and honestly not that good. Just my opinion.

 

Hmm, if I remember my homebrew for NE style ipa it was.. 2 row, oats, maybe some wheat, maybe some extra dextrine, tropical hops, mushrooms, yeast nutrient, ph adjustment, yeast. Yeah that all looks right to me.

 

In culinary school they taught us that the first bite you take is with your eyes. In other words, it doesn't matter how good something tastes, if it looks terrible you're going to have a harder time enjoying it. I'm open to the possibility of liking this beer, but my first "bite" which is the concept of a beer with mushrooms in it is going to be a pretty big hurdle to overcome.

 

Not the first time, can't remember how many times they threw some dope Kennett shrooms in various brews.

 

The mushroom saison that the Cafe had on tap a few weeks back was decent. Couldn't taste even a hint of shrooms.

Without them trying new shit the "shake" ipa's wouldnt exist... the fun of TH back in the only cafe days was going into the cafe and trying new weird beers.. they would have an ipa or two on and the other stuff was all weird stuff.. that's what was cool about TH.. i'm glad to see more of the weird shit... guess bc jean is brewing over at the cafe for a bit it seems...

idk... so many places pumping out dipa after dipa or ipa.. let the weird beers flow.. never know when the next new flavor will be found

i don't even like mushrooms but i support the shit out of them doing it if that is what they like and want to do

 

I am really happy to see back actively brewing at the Cafe again. Looking for some good stuff coming out of there soon.

 

No mushrooms! And the hop bill for Copy & Paste sounds great.

 

Gotta say, the combo of Galaxy, Simcoe and Mosaic is a dream team of hops for me.

 

I know it's just guessing but do you guys think this is the type of release where you can cruise up at 7 and grab allotments from the bar?
