Who is super pumped or this top notch event? I assure you this will be the best festival in CT this year. Curated to a fault, no lines 40+ breweries including 30ish from CT. All of the heavy hitters. 100% of the proceeds go to a most worthy charity. Volunteer staffers and breweries. Huge raffle including homebrew supplies and brewing classes. Sat. 9/2 in New Britain. Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this event except that I am an avid beer drinker and went to their last 2 events. World class. www.cthopsforhope.com
I'll be there too. I don't go to many fests but this one was great because it was smaller, but with great beers and breweries. Cheers.
That looks like a great list! I'm having some trouble justifying their charging $15 for a DD ticket considering the only non-drinking thing at this entire thing is 2 food trucks that you can purchase food from. That seems crazy to me. Am I missing something?
Managed to get a VIP tickets, super psyched for this. The Noah Webster Real Ale fest is the week after; gonna be a fun couple weekends :O You think that's bad? Small state great beer is charging $28 for DD :| https://tickets.beerfests.com/event/small-state-great-beer $15 is kind of the norm for CT. Never really saw the point in it unless the fest has music or some other kind of events going on too. I just take an uber or if I managed to get a DD they find something else to do during the fest.
At least for Hops for Hope you can consider that a straight up $15 donation to a very worthwhile cause and charity since all the money is donated. I wish I could go, but I'm going to be out of town that weekend.
