BrewDog: Punk IPA

 

Having a Corsendonk Grand Hops edition 2017. Fascinating. Never seen an edition of this before.I think this is the first.
It’s a Corsendonk, but not as we know it.

Babysitting my ribs on the smoker. Decided to go with just salt, pepper, and some chili powder and using this sauce for a glaze.

Right NOW, I am drinking this while soaking up the hickory a d pecan smoke.

Kicked the ball around for a solid 2 hours this morning (first time in over a month) so replenishing the resources with this grassy, dank, lemon DDH IPA from Grimm. This is superbly done. Cheers all.

 

Deschutes Hopzeit Autumn IPA

 

Undamaged is the only one they've produced multiple times, the others are fairly new (they do almost all one-offs, in name at least). Will be interested in your thoughts, my reviews of the new ones shouldn't be hard to find if you wanted to compare

Haven't had The Veil, yet - maybe @vabeerguy and others can offer thoughts.

For me, on to an IPA from VA, bit not either of those two breweries. Arrant from Pale Fire:


Had this on tap before, first can. A nice IPA that seems a bit more classic than I recalled it. Nice bitterness, lightly floral hops in the background, but a little onion (well within tolerable range).

 

Hazelnut is my first vice after maple. How is it? Had this one @cjgiant ?

In this house, if I don't cook, we get one of 3 things. Tacos, meatloaf, or some pre cooked frozen item. My wife will happily admit to all the charges. She does bake though...
