    Sierra Nevada - Barrel Aged Narwhal w/ currants

    Currants are potent, and overwhelm any bourbon from the barrels. Tastes more like its aged in red wine barrels. Nice unique tart stout.

    Second Bite IPA... 8/4 canning featuring Citra, Cascade, and Zythos hops... Lots of floral citrus on the nose, accompanied by danker pine resin impressions... Big bitterness up front, with softer fruits on the mid-palate; fruit notes suggestive of both citrus and tropical fare are engulfed by chewy pine and earthy resin... Medium body-weight and smooth, leaning toward a DIPA in feel, with a little bit of sticky shellac toward the close before tightening up for a drier finish... I really like everything about this IPA...

    Fight tonight!

    Hell no, I ain't gonna pay for it - but I can't wait to see what comes of it... Of course I want McGregor to win - *doubtful* - but there's no loser when both fighters make millions...


    Next actual fight is Golovkin vs. Alvarez...


    And hey, annual Jets-Giants preseason game today, too...

    Happy Saturday ba. Finally settled in for the evening and able to get into some beers. Starting with ok2berfest, marzen lager, from two roads. Very nice for the style. Dry, bready, and the sweetness does not overpower it. Underrated at an 82 ba score,
