I've never heard of them, apparently local, they deserve a taste, and some research. This one looks fantastic but the flavor is vegetal. I assume it is supposed to be. It is growing on me with a few more sips.

Worthy stop on the way home from Maine, so around one or so.



Stoneface Brewery. Very good beers. One in a growler for New Beer Sunday that remains nameless. A kolsch style lager that was spot on. Pull Start IPA dry hopped with Huell Melon hops. Raspberry Berliner Weisse with a side of raspberry syrup. Pork tacos and Carolina fries that were fabulous.

 

Good evening BA's....

Sipping on a freshly canned Counter Weight Inundation, which is double dry hopped w/ Citra hops and lupulin powder clocking in at 6.3% abv. Picked up from the brewery today.

Having another VA beer. This one is brewed by Kindred Spirtit which is just five miles from our house. In my younger days (many moons ago), I could have jogged to it. Now I get tired just driving that far!

 

Spicy is a good descriptor. A Belgian-like IPA quality to it. I now have glass envy as I broke mine and they're currently out of stock.

 

Made a Nashville beer run to get my Bearded Iris fix and stopped by Mantra on the way home.

Thank you very much! It was great hunting for all the styles (especially the obscure ones, even though it was a bit frustrating at times).

 

Grilling some burgers tonight, enjoying a beer from @BrewsOverHoes (I'm going to be saying that last thing a lot these days). I'm making my burger with bacon, white cheddar, and the Mrs' giardiniera all mixed in with the beef.

Moving right along here ba. This is wavvy, a rotating hopped dipa, from Stillwater artisanol. This be batch #2 and it features centennial, simcoe, and Amarillo hops. Very well done,

 

Made my first trip to Magnify Brewing today. Definitely impressed.

Here's the Lil Zig Zag. 6% IPA. 4.27/5

Having this from a coworker in New Jersey. Dark Belgian candy sugar gives it sweetness and oats make it smooth. Creative for a Saison!
