Good evening advocates! Haven't been around in a while as I took some time off from the site and beer. A good reset indeed, but it's good to be back!
Starting with the 2017 version of Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest, a series I have quite enjoyed. Following this with left coast hop juice triple ipa.
Anyway, enough of my yammering, it's good to be back! Cheers BA and enjoy your Saturday night brews!!

Be sure to check out the Pumpkin Spice Life. So many pumpkin foods are disappointing, but they nailed it with that cereal.

 

Going with my last 2016. Close enough to Sunday morning, right? This is delightful. Carbonation is actually great, barrel is there but nice. Coffee, mostly kaput, but still lingering. Great stout.

I'm giving up on this sham of a fight. Too late for my old ass.

 

One more "newbie." Sprecher's black lager. Don't let the bottle fool you. It looks and sounds German. Its from Wisconsin, and it's tasty--especially for the price. This single was a two-buck purchase. I've paid twice as much for brews I've enjoyed less than half as much. Simple and straight. Malty sweetness balanced with strong acidity provided by the roasted malts.

 

Watching Stanford & Rice,.I hope they are giving them Aussies their $ back. Total mismatch



Founders DKML, kept waiting for this be sold as a single. Never saw it that way. I am only comitting to a 4 pack based a on a few WBAYDN stalwarts endorsements. Not a Malt liquor guy any more. Fingers crossed..

This is very nice, Funky and Tart and dry. Tastes a little young but with some age on it, I think it just might become something special.

So the can is a over 2 months past drink by date, but with ABV and the fact it was more of a Sour than IPA I wasn't too concerned. This was pretty solid!
