I usually don't miss a Notre Dame game for anything but I'll be choosing Grand Rapids over South Bend that weekend.

Cracked a Tequila BA Incipient last night, holy cow! Awesome beer. They keep killing it with every release.

Yeahhhhh this sounds fantastic. I though blackberry was going to be this month? I might be losing my mind but at the August release they were selling pours and I swear the guy behind the bar (not Mitch) said it would be September release.

Yep sorry, I should have mentioned the others, but I was like a deer in the headlights over the whole fruit additions to Incipient! Haha :scream::scream::scream:
Also to be released are Blackberry Incipient, Genetic Drift-b5, and a collaboration with Transient called "Sorry to Disappoint You" - a wild pilsner. Love the name on that one.

Announcement was made Sunday about what they did with the fresh blueberries, sounds great!

Golden Sour aged in 2nd use tequila barrels with 100 gallons of spontaneously fermented blueberry juice from Tanglewood Winery, limes, and salt. Was bottled yesterday, looking forward to getting some! Picture on Facebook looked great, deep purple color.

Every single Incipient release has been fantastic. Drift remains solid; and while the wild ales have not gotten as much love, they are sneaky good. Dollar for dollar, its Incipient for the win...by miles. Mitch is dialed in!

Had to hop on to watch how fast that Cherry went, seems if you blinked you missed it! Honestly was surprised there was any after the Club sale with there only being ~370 bottles and 200+ Club members, I figured nearly every member would have grabbed a couple and no bottles would have been left. Maybe he put some aside to give the public a shot at having it, which I think is awesome if that's the case.

I'm pretty sure that cultured club membership is right at 100. Beerschlitz, have you heard otherwise?

That cherry went FAST! Hopeful that cherry will be available for pours at pickup day next week.

Hmm, thought I saw when they were selling memberships on Eventbrite there were 225ish available, and thought they'd sold out of them. Maybe they didn't sell out and the sale just ended?

    **Edit**
Asked a buddy a bit more in the know than I on cultured club details and he said he's pretty sure it's less than 100 people.
    The more you know...

It is currently at about 100. About 1/4 of the people only use the membership for the member beers, so that would leave some Cherry for the public sale for sure.

Bottles announced for the next release... All sounding awesome and all made with whole fresh local fruit!
Sweet Cherry Incipient (was on draft at Speciation last release and was delicious), Tart Cherry Incipient, and Peach Genetic Drift.
Was surprised to not see the Blueberry Tequila Incipient listed. Maybe wanting to give it more time in the bottle before it's ready? Draft only? Who knows.

The 2018 Cultured Club memberships are now for sale on the Speciation website:
    http://speciationartisanales.com/store/cc18

There are a total of 60 memberships available. Benefits include: Early access to bottle releases,
12 member exclusive bottles, 2 member exclusive glasses, 1 month pickup window and Access to member exclusive facebook group.

I don't work for Speciation or benefit in any way from this post. I decided to sign up for it, so I'm just passing along the info.

I was kind of surprised they lasted that long with only 60 available, proxies allowed & lots of publicity since GABF.
Oh well I'm in so that's all I care about

Very surprised that memberships lasted that long as well with proxies being allowed. Very much looking forward to what Mitch will be working on this year and seeing the new members glasses!
