Haven't gotten one yet, but I believe it's just 25% overall. Could go through a whole case and not get a hot one.

I seen the Facebook post when it first went up, however now it's gone? Unless my Facebook app is totally messing up, which is totally possible, I'm hoping the release is still good to go for this Friday???

I bought a 4pk and both cans I've drank so far have been pretty hot. It wasn't unbearable or anything, but it was spicy. As soon as each sip hit the back of my tongue the heat took over and its all I could taste. I'm hoping my other 2 are mild so I can actually taste the beer without the heat covering it up.

Instagram post reiterated Friday release, should be good to go.

I bought two. Drank one, it was unmistakably mild but full of pepper flavor. Then my friend shared one with me. It was a hot can. It was really very hot. Almost squashed a lot of the complexity.

That said, I hope my second can is hot.

Doing this now, and while I ain't mad at any of them, the 2016 BB is blowing the other two away to a degree I was not expecting at all. It's absolutely delicious, far more chocolatier and nuttier, with a spicier yet also fruitier pepper presence that lends itself well to keeping the cinnamon expressive. The other two seem almost like different beers, even the 2016 regular. But the 2017 BB has a much different pepper flavor, roasted and sort of savory and earthy, not getting much of the chocolate or fruity, and the components are not all working together as well. Still, I would take all three over many other attempts at this sub-style. Just thought it'd be fun to do this side-by-side-by-side while I could.

I've had 5 cans so far and all were definitely mild. I've really, really wanted to try a "hot/spicy" can and worried my wish won't be granted haha. Damn good beer regardless and can't wait for the BA version.

2016 BA Oro is my favorite Jackie O's Stout followed super closely by Champion Ground. I thought the 2017 version was a lot less spicy/pepper forward.

I had a super-hot can that was whole-body-sweaty-ridiculous. I drank half and cut the rest with regular Dark App. I have another that will probably require the same treatment.

Didn't even think about doing that. I'm not a fan of heat so I'll probably do that if one of my 3 remaining cans is a scorcher.

Totally agree with both of you! '16 BB Oro and the batch of regular Oro from May 2016 were both incredible ! Looking forward to Champion Ground and the new beer this week!

I don't think Brad needs to be tagged with every question. Historically speaking, if a beer hits distribution (which both of these will), it will be available in the Taproom for a few weeks.

That black mask label might be my favorite of all time. A samurai pug. Hard to beat that.

That was my thought as well. We have a pug, and ...[insert cliche cutesy/"feelz" comment here].
