    Early to bed, early to rise! The dogs have been walked, so I might as well open the day with a bottle I found this week in a little liquor store:



    Dated 10/27/15. The hops are long gone leaving bittersweet dark chocolate and roast. Have a great Tuesday BAs!

    The placard on the cask pull is wrong, right brewery, though. This smells like an apple cider, but malt brings it back in the flavor.

    Today def. a 11.3% stout for breakfast kind of day. Gonna attempt to finish the science fiction performance art play I am writing. Really gotta hand it to playwrights, This is my second attempt at a play and it is the hardest form of writing I have attempted. Hope you all have similarly lofty goals for today. Cheers!

    Too bad. That traffic is thick. Wife got a pic of me and the boys a few years ago, but it was dicey. We saw some kids "planking " in the crosswalk and I thought for sure they were going to get run over!

    In Memoriam Pooh-Bah Trader

    A dystopian future after an undescribed tragedy that leaves the few humans remaining in an authoritarian world of constant video surveillance that requires daily decontamination and few jobs. The main theme is an idea to preserve resources by creating a chemical food source called Nutrient Feed (they call it Noofy) that is dispensed from a huge receptacle in a special area. Humans feed from it by way of tubes that hang down, to which they attach devices that cause the taste of Noofy to appear to be the best flavors for each individual human, by way of neural interfaces. The Feed, as it is called, has caused humans to create a hand language they can "speak" while feeding. It deals with the realities, rumors, jealousies, and uncertainties that such a situation can create, and ends with a silent scene that is intended to shock. It is four short acts, including the 90 second ending.
