Swung by Maui Brewing for the first time in a while and was happy to see this Bourbon aged Strong Ale on tap. Really nice beer.

Happy hump day ba. Rocking another can of Jenny Said, the double dry hopped version iipa, from singlecut. Sharp and pungent hops with a soft and tangy juicy feel. Just excellent stuff. 8/8/17,

I think the dudes at Veil that come up with the beer names, hell even the can designs, are enjoying something more than we can get.

I take weather forecasts as something to think about. Not a perfect science but at least worth paying attention to.

Good afternoon, BS's! Left Hand Oktoberfest, the second of the Oktoberfest mix pax I picked up the other day. What's not to like? Lots of malty goodness, with a crisp, peppery finish. Sehr gut!

Great place. I had a blast in their taproom last year.

 

#2 at Tony Sacco's, this is Tapistry Enigma, a DIPA with brown sugar added. This is really nice - big hops, and the brown sugar smooths out this 9.2% ABV beer so that it approaches dangerous.

 

Coconut Killer & a dragon roll for supper.

Now back home having my first Mosaic Promise of the year.

Dude. You have sent me some awesome stuff. Beared Iris ,in my humble stupid ass opinion, is a very good brewery. At least where IPAs and double IPAs are concerned. Should you ever want some Veil and/or Triple Crossing brews, let me know. I would be more than happy to trade again.
