South King County is a bit of a wasteland compared to Seattle, but there are a few good options.

As one whose job has required considerable travel and movement over the years, I can assure you that most of the US is a bit of wasteland when compared to Seattle. At least from a beer standpoint.

For sure, but it's always a bit surprising how Kent (Airways)/Federal Way (nothing)/Auburn (Geaux, Scamp and CRFT BEERS) are lacking in craft beer options when compared to Seattle and Tacoma. There are a ton of people that live in the burbs and there are very few breweries and almost no bottle shops.

I lived in Kent for longer than I'd like to admit and I have to say that this is not a bit surprising to me. South King County is definitely Bud Light/Coors Light land...that's what real men and women drink, dontcha know?

I've got a friend who bought a house on Kent's East Hill after living in West Seattle (Delridge) for ten years and he's always amazed at the total lack of craft beer culture. He's happy that Brewmaster's Taproom, Odin and Airways are nearby, but it's still a bit jarring for him.

Question for the locals about food. Are there any good vegan options close to Holy Mountain?

    Nothing I can think of.

There are very few options of any type in the immediate vicinity - windy city pie and taco time are it. There's a whole foods not to far N on 15thW, that would likely be your closest option.

Taco Time veggie burito, no dressing, no cheese, add corn salsa, add guac.

My vegan wife gets that lol.

For what it's worth, there is a Whole Foods right up the street a bit.

There is a Thai place off dravus called tuk tuk that kitchen that is close enough to holy mountain if you plan ahead. Probably only close enough if you are bussing down fifteenth or have a car. Citizen six might have something too.

They did very well until Total Wine showed up. Killed their sales.
