    I may lose some street cred for this, but I prefer Bud to most all of the crafty beers my mother in law buys to stock her fridge. Don't work to hard today friends

    Happy to confirm my Barleywine just passed the 13% ABV mark. Time to add some apple whiskey-and-amaretto-soaked oak chips, wait 72 hours, then bottle her up. Hoping to breach the 15% threshold, yeast cake is still somewhat active. Brown sugar and vanilla notes are just insane.
