What beer are you drinking now? #1796

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day BA!
Today i had the pleasure of having Heist Brewery's Imperial Maple Junkie, a simply wonderful maple coffee stout..i acquired this via trade and i wish i could get more...cheers!!

 

Brown ales don't normally do much for me, but this one is very nice. Just the right amount of maple.

This particular bottle is getting a little long in the tooth. It didn't hold up well.

 

Drinking Saison Dupont

 

Started with this: my first Jester King beer - Snörkel. A bottle from last year but still very fresh and drinkable.



Then moved to this beer that I realized it's my favorite thing after Pliny.



Besides Julius, I only had Green from Tree House and both are world class beers. They're doing cool things. Glad I introduced these beers to me.

This ones been in the fridge eyeballing me for weeks. Something to enjoy as I wait for the grass to dry. It's been nearly a month since I last mowed because of the drought. Doing it more for leaf pickup than grass.

After a day of fiddling with the new phone, I'm feeling more comfortable with it. I got all my apps and photos transferred making it feel right again. It's scary how these devices have become a part of us! Cheers virtual barflies......

 

It was fate that we would meet again . . .



and yes, this is from 2015 where it sat unnoticed in the back of a cooler at one of our locals.

Charming light lemon yellow color with thick white cap that settles into a thin cover leaving lacing behind.

Taste is like biting into a ripe but tart piece of citrus from the Mediterranean area. Rounded and complex but oh so subtle. Tartness remains throughout and even lingers in the aftertaste but it's a nice tartness. There's nothing bold about this beer but you certainly notice you're drinking something that's a cut above average.

 

No draft beers today, a DFH 90 minute it is.

Good morning BA
I got tired of moving this one around the fridge. I was trying to wait until the April 2018 best by date.

It's funky, supercarbed, and super dry. I guess that's the point?

Crazy Mountain neomexicanus. An odd one. Hoppy, earthy yet medicinal. Strange.


Wants list for a while. Them el dorado hops i can pick em out always. Still good beer though.



Old but still has life. Hibiscus is there. Kiwi is still tart.
