Read that the Pats ran out of bottled water...at least they had some tasty brew options yesterday....[IMG]

Yes, they definitely have upped their beer game at Gillette. I was at a Revs game a couple of weeks ago and saw that the beer vendor near my seating was offering SoS. Unfortunately I was chaperoning a group of teens......good to see quality beers being offered and a somewhat reasonable price.

Wow. Not that $10 is inexpensive, but that's less than what some bars around Boston charge.

    And what's a Bud Light go for, $9? Seems like a no-brainer.

They also have tap water now for $4.50 - $5.00.

Wow! I may actually want to go to a game after seeing these great local craft beer options.

    Cheers to that!

Maybe they put some TB12 electrolytes in it.

Yes, but they have to pay for the bottled water, even if the concept in and of itself is a waste of time. How much does water from the tap cost them?

I heard they were basically charging for the cup, and that soda was the same price or cheaper (I forget), so people were just buying soda instead. Which I'm sure is still absurdly cheap for them as well, it's just some syrup/water.

What surprises me about the whole thing is that so many fans were actually drinking water instead of beer, we are talking Patriots fans here.

But good news on the craft selection, I'll be at this Sunday's game.

Oh absolutely. Just taking an opportunity to get on my soapbox about bottled water which is a pet peeve of mine

I worked at Burger King as a young lad and the reason they said they wouldn't give out cups (and kept small "courtesy" cups on hand) was that that was how they kept track of soda inventory. Sensible enough as a general company policy, but to not make an exception in a circumstance like this is beyond bonkers, especially from an optics standpoint.

Of course the guy in front of me got the last SOS, and that was right before the game started, so don't count on it. So many other great beer choices though, and other than the cans shown above, there was a great selection at the Draft of NE kiosks, I got a JA Pilsner of some sort and a Fiddlehead IPA. If only the outcome of the game was as good as the beers...

Just a bump on this thread - any 2018 update on selection or availability. I’m heading there tonight for the game and have some parking lot trilliums ready to go.

They had Fiddlehead IPA @ the MIA game. They have a NE craft stand near where I sit (126). The Draft Kings lounge has a huge draft list, but it gets mobbed. Go in early, & do a thorough recon of your area. Also, with a night game, beer sales can be stopped as early as halftime.

Four Seam from Idle Hands is available in the stadium at the Craft Beer of NE Stands.

We found the four seam and it was glorious. Nice selection all around. Be hoppy drafts too.

They had Focal Banger and Second Fiddle at the game yesterday. Perhaps I should have sent one down to the Chargers' sideline?
