My buddies first juicy DIPA home brew. Good stuff, Cheers.

 

Our blind one, Bella - a red brindle, still is the best watch dog we've ever had and we've had 2 German Shepherds. They know no fear. If I were bred to crawl into a hole after badgers and wolverines ... I wouldn't either!! LOL

 

High end night out at the restaurant of her choice time, IMO.

 

Drinking Spaten Oktoberfestbier. This beer is drier and less hop aromatic than the Löwenbräu Oktoberfestbier, but it's still full flavored and nicely balanced between the pale malt and the hop bitterness, and mild hop flavor. It's extremely clean tasting just like the Löwenbräu, the malt and the hops are the stars of the show in this beer. Comparing it to Weihenstephaner Festbier and Paulaner Oktoberfestbier (going by memory on that one since it hasn't been sold here for two years) it is sweeter and maltier, those two are certainly about as dry as far as festbiere go imo.

 

Hello, BA! Some big changes for me and Max. We sold our little condo in Oak Park and moved out to Boulder, Colorado just over a week ago. While Boulder is terrific in many ways, including for beer, I can't help but feel a bit beer homesick. Trying out this wet hopped offering from La Cumbre. It's alright, but it's no Broo Doo!

 

H*lyshit! I guess I never left the Virtual Bar last night because... @Prager62 just bought me another tasty beer! YUM!!



Guess I'll sit here all night again and see what happens tomorrow...

Man am I happy I picked this up. So damn good. If youre into hops but also like yerself some malts like myself grab this baby. I will be buying all of this @ 10.99/4 pints I can find.

Not a good last two days as far as beer is concerned. I will not bother you with the details (although I did whine to a couple of BA dudes). Anyway, my spirits have been lifted in part because of this outstanding IPA (Tired HandsTangerine Dream Milkshake) courtesy of @CanConPhilly .Thanks my friend.

 

Found a shortcut from work to Iron&Glass, can be drinking a Half Acre Johnny's 1 Ton within 15 minutes of leaving work.
