This is probably one of the strangely-goodest-but-not-greatest-beers I've ever had.

It's been a while since I had Löwenbräu Original but from what I remember, drinking it maybe a year ago, it was sweeter than both Spaten and Hofbräu (and this holds true also for the Oktoberfest variant). If you can appreciate a slightly drier Munich lager beer I would recommend Spaten as a replacement.

It's weird. It is far from the best IPA I've had. But it has one of the nicest vanilla characters I've ever tried. It is 'too much' and 'not enough l' at once. It is almost like I both love and hate it at the same time.

One of the fine proprietors of Iron and Glass was pouring some Mikerphone Innocent Criminal. No wonder I love this place.

This is a new one for me and is now my highest-rated beer from BI. It had me at Mosaic and Simcoe.

 

I can get Spaten and dig it. There is just something about the original "L" I like. Its nothing like what miller brews in the states.

 

Happy hump day ba. Just more freshies from Barrier for me here. Tanto, ipa, I don't enjoy it as much as Money or some of their others but its still very good. Lots of citrus with good bitter bite and a juicy feel.

Triple Crossing brews some mighty good stuff and it is much easier to get than Veil. I may have to start spending more time and money at this brewery. I especially like that their releases are on Friday and that they open at noon on Friday.

 

Man do I wish I could get some Lowenbrau Oktoberfest around here. I haven't even had (seen) the regular for over 5 years. For that matter, I haven't come across Spaten yet.
