I know you're all just flushed with anticipation to know my opinion on the matter:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Count me as Team Monthly Thread. I fuckin' hate 20+ pages of content.

As for Kane, I haven't been there in a couple months. Are Sneakbox cans still part of the regular lineup? Thanks

    so...how about more Anniversary speculation?

$0.0001 on next Saturday - completely silent or an "instagram post after 1PM" release.

my opinion with means aboslulty nothing and i have no basis for..

they may hold off after what happened with mexican brunch..

but again i know nothing and have zero merrit..

i personally thing making the whole month of october special taps at random days/times would be very cool and obviouslly keep the lines down

Had not thought of this but seems like one of the more obvious choices here. Kind of like what they did with Port Omna last year (before just doing the canning this year..).

That would be a cool way to do it... Curious to see when (if?) they end up doing this.

As per Mexican Brunch, expect any bottle release to start out as ticketed event.

this is a real poor and misguided thing to say. As of today they have only done this a small amount of times.. for ANTEAD, which is clearly their hardest to get and possibly most sought after beer. And 1 other time for Mexican Brunch due to growing issues/concerns with traffic and parking issues. If they do decide to go with this method more in the future I would expect it to only be for the large bottle releases of their most sought after beers (Morning Bell, Sunday/Mexican Brunch, and obviously ANTEAD) there's really no reason to assume anything else is going to be done this way.

That being said, I realized yesterday thanks to Glenn and Kane's posts on Instagram that this weekend is GABF, I feel like we would not be likely to get any kind of Anniversary celebration with both Mike and Glenn not being in NJ this weekend, so it seems this might be pushed a bit further, unless the intention is just to drop the normal anniversary bottles... even still would seem like Mike would likely want to be here for that.

Whats your source on this???? Im sure you have a kane employee that must have told you something different?

Of course Fall Saints, Malus, wont be a ticket release, Kane even in their public statement said that this was the "only option" left for "certain" releases. I would say any release that required line controls in the past will most likely start out as a ticketed event. Kane has already stated publicly they are upsetting their neighbors with the crowds, even crowds that are just guessing for a silent release. Two years ago their Anniversary Quad could be purchased two months after release, last year, it was gone in two weeks? I would expect they could now sell out in a weekend. With the surprise announcement of 5th last year, and the special limited releases years prior, any pre announcement of an Anniversary Event would drive enough speculation to create the same havoc the ticket events are trying to solve.

Kane does a really good job in keeping company information private until they are ready to release it. Even employees I have had interactions with outside of the brewery are VERY tight lipped about releases, schedules, any kind of inside information. Something I find very respectable. While my 1st statement might have been a little vague, it was done so on purpose. But I don't think expecting most of their future releases to start out as a ticket event, is something that is misguided. I also said start out, not 100% only sold through tickets.

I think you are arguing more in favor of my statement than you think. Your original post was saying every bottle release would likely be ticketed, which is why I said it was misguided, bc that most certainly won't be the case. The only bottle releases that really elicit a crazy response/line are the ones I mentioned (Morning Bell, Brunches, and ANTED which has been ticketed for a bit now) other than those nothing really has much of a line. Hell even Mosaic Punch this weekend had no one there buying it and lasted a while and is prob one of the best IPAs they have done yet. The only can release where there was a crazy line was Port Omna day this year and that's a special event that changed for 2017 and was coupled with their Aslin collab release. Just saying you are really jumping to conclusions without really having any information either.

Either way, shit its only beer, lets share and enjoy it and not bicker about it. Now where are my anniversary bottles?!
