    First night of October, it's rainy here, cold, dreary... called for a big pot of Potato Soup, and a toasty malty Mexican Lager. What are you drinking?

    Northern brewers synchronicity extraordinaire. I finally got rid of the vaguely musty taste I've been having. I think I was inderpitching liquid yeasts because I switched to dry for this. But the flavor still isn't quite right although it may just need to age some.

    And my keezer isn't quite balanced. I need to get longer lines than the one my keg system came with.

    This is such a great style, especially for the season. It has a wonderfully creamy character while remaining crisp and malty. Non beer geeks really seem to enjoy this too!

    Been enjoying the four saison experiment brewed this summer for my homebrew club. The beers were brewed using the same recipe but with four different yeasts. Gigayeast 027, Wyeast 3711, Wyeast 3724, and Wyeast 3725 a spicy Biere de garde yeast. The beers were fermented at 76 deg with an OG of 1.057.
    The 027 finished at 1.004, the 3711 at 1.002, the 3724 at 1.006, and the 3725 at 1.004. The 3724 was done for 10 days covered with foil without an airlock and finished quickly. Some of the tasters could not believe there were no spices in the 3711. If I ever figure out how to post a pic, I will

    Grissette, blend of batches with BE-134 and Mangrove Jack French saison. It's taken me a while to warm up to this. Caramel wheat makes it a little sweeter than it ought to be, and something about the hops (Tradition, Crystal) seems a bit herbally, in a slightly off way? May have something to do with the cloviness I get from the yeast. But the carbonation is perfect and that alone makes me want another.

    Just doing a carbonation test :wink: of a bottle of a bitter I brewed two weeks ago and bottled one week ago. Carbed up nicely and has dropped bright allready. It's rather green though as expected, another week or two and it should be drinking good. Bit of the Burton Snatch about it too :astonished:

    Drinking a Xocoveza clone that I brewed Nov 2015. It's been sitting patiently in the keg and has really come into it's own.

    On the hunt oatmeal stout.... 5.0% silky smooth with chocolate, roast notes. Keg is coming to it's end but drinking great
