Oh my god that sounds amazing. No way that lasts to the weekend, though :slight_frown:

With this, Spill the Tea and the Franconian Keller, it's good to see some new Jack's Abby releases recently. For a while, and understandably so, it seemed they were pouring a lot of attention into the Springdale brand and not coming out with a lot of new stuff on the JA side of things.

Also pretty sure this is their first brewery only can release.

What do they have available for Framinghammer bottles?

If anyone willing to grab me a few bottles from JA I would greatly appreciate it. My wife is due in 3 weeks and her wish is to have some Framinghammers after the baby's comes. I can provide a label and send a nice WI thank you box. Thanks!

Picked up a four pack this afternoon. Still in stock but obviously limited supply.

Had the Maple Barrel Aged version on tap in the beer hall - incredible.

Hoping the crew at @JacksAbbyBrewing or @springdalebeer can help me out with this one...

Noticed they had a beer they were bringing to one of their bar events called "Sibling Maker," and I've seen a few bottles of it checked it on Untappd. But no one at the brewery seemed to know what it was when a buddy stopped by on Sunday to try and pick it up for me.

Any chance this is going to be available in Framingham or maybe it was an ultra small batch to mark a special event? Either way, had your Baby Maker to celebrate the birth of the first child, and would love Sibling Maker to celebrate the birth of our second, coming up in December. Appreciate any light you can shed on the subject!

Sibling Maker has not been officially released yet, but it will become available in bottles in the near future. No release date planned yet, but will likely be out by Thanksgiving.

Really looking forward to Kiwi Rising making a reappearance! Probably my favorite offering from Jack's Abby!

Mass Rising was very good last go round. Looking forward to seeing it again. It was so soapy before I was surprised.

I was surprised and delighted to see they've begun canning their Post Shift pilsner as a year-round beer (per their standard formula of pint can sixers and twelve packs of 12 oz cans). I've been hoping they'd get a pils into their full-time core lineup and hey, presto, there it is.

Has anyone tried Post Shift? I was curious how it compared to Sunny Ridge ever since it first appeared on draft at the brewery but haven't gotten a chance to try it yet. Glad to hear there's going to be a pils in the year round lineup regardless.

It's amazing. Blows sunny ridge out of the water imo.

I'd say that Sunny Ridge is fuller and rounder by comparison, while Post Shift is a bit crisper and ends a bit drier; I think the flavors pop more as well. I'm pleased with both, and especially pleased that just as Sunny Ridge has gone out of season, Post Shift has arrived to keep the pils times coming.

Loved Post Shift - right up my alley as a clean, crisp, dry Pils that you can just drink one after another. Ranks up there with House Lager as my fave JA beer.

OTOH tried the Kiwi Rising today & was disappointed for the 2nd straight year. Got the same overwhelming onion flavor I remember from last year, not my bag.

I'm finding their hoppy beers to be wildly inconsistent during this growth period. 1 day I'll get a perfectly fine Hoponius on draft, then next week I'll try a Mass Rising pounder can (within code) that's bad. Then a few months later I'll get the exact reverse.

will second kiwi rising. Last time I had it was in bottles, so maybe that was 2 years ago, but it's not even so much an onion flavor thing, it's underwhelming in both aroma and flavor. It's not bad it's just kinda boring and bland.
