Might be in the area Saturday afternoon (around 12-1ish), how long does the line last? Wouldn't mind trying to pick up some cans, but wouldn't be able to wait on line.

Can you get growler fills without a wait even if there's still a can line?

 

It depends on the release. Last week's cans of Fractal Simcoe were still available on Monday. There have been other releases that sell out by 1-2PM Saturday.

Cans and growlers are two different lines. The cans are sold by the back in the parking lot. Growler fills are inside the building and downstairs.

 

Awfully quiet in here recently!

Quick question: have been hearing some people say that this past weekend's batch of VDoF is different from past--not just batch variation, but a change in recipe. Can anyone here comment on / validate this? Just curious, as I will be trying it for the first time this weekend and would love some context!

 

Yes, the brewery told people that they tweaked the recipe and it definitely tastes better.

 

Actually, if I remember correctly, Pete said they didn't change the recipe, but the process. The thought is the yeast reacted differently, which brought out the melon flavor that is now prevalent.

 

I never had the other batches but this one is amazing.

 

Vulgar is my favorite yet.

 

Of a couple Fractal varieties, and Mc2, VDOF is my fave....drinking one now. Though, I find it a tad too sweet, just like MC2, its delish, and visually speaking, its stunning....

 

Taking delivery of 5 20 barrel tanks. More beer ahead for sure!

 

A friend of mine split a Vulgar can with me at a party on Saturday (drank it out of a plastic cup) and I was very impressed. My first time trying it, I would have thought I was drinking a 5.5-6% IPA. Very citric, slick/soft feel, really good, I wanted to drive to Middletown immediately.

 

Release this Sat., with others yet to be announced. 16.00 ea., 6 PP. Think I'm gonna hit this one. How about you?

 

Could be a go depending on what else is released. I was planning on a Rushing Duck/Industrial Arts trip but I may recalibrate to the west and do Equil and RD on the way home.

 

No release this past weekend, and they posted earlier that there would be a few released this coming Sat. I bet MC2 is one of them, which I love. Not 100% sure I am going either. Maybe see you there?

I don't trade much anymore either, but I can be tempted. Seemed like good folks on the page.
