It will be interesting to see what Founders does with their BA Series in 2018. You have to presume that if they continue with a series of BA beers throughout 2018, KBS and Backwoods Bastard will be part of it. But what about the rest? Will we see Frootwood, Doom, and DKML return? How about CBS? Might Lizard of Koz be put into the rotation? Or Project PAM? Any new BA "experiments" candidates show up in Founders' taproom? What are your thoughts and desires?

I think I speak for many when I say bring back Curmudgeon's Better Half and Frangelic Mountain Brown.

Better Half>CBS. I would also love to see a bourbon or rye barrel treatment of Curmudgeon.

With CBS dropping this year and Sunday Morning Stout more to my liking, I would not be disappointed if neither of these beers were brought back. BA Sumatra Brown was killer at the tap room and I'm a fan of Sweet Repute. Never got to try Curmudgeon's Better Half and Frangelic is angelic. Lets do those 4.

Project Pam in 4 packs would be my favorite thing ever. Loved that beer.

Sweet Repute was an excellent wheatwine

A return of DKML would be great! I'll be passing on frootwood 2018 if it makes a comeback. Not well executed.

I hope so. I haven't had a wheatwine I've actually liked, they've all tasted like high ABV versions of Witbiers. This, as you can imagine, is a huge disappointment to someone like myself who lives Barleywines.

Id be happy with either or both of Barrel Sumatra or Barrel Redankulous. Sweet Repute XXX would also be a treat at some point.

I'd also love to see a wide release of KBS Devil's Cut.

I've heard that Curmudgeon and Imperial Stout will not be released in bottles in 2018, possibly suggesting that all of those batches are going into barrels. Perhaps for 2019 BA series.

But as previous people have pointed out:
    Backwoods
    KBS
    Sweet Repute
    Project PAM
    Bolt Cutter

are all but confirmed for 2018. So maybe one more "surprise" in the 2018 series.

Is it possible they are not doing imperial stout because it sits around so long? I've seen 2 yr old four packs of it all around up here. It's the same for curmudgeon for that matter, 2016 four packs everywhere!

Well my main Founders desire is for them to actually have distribution in KS! :slight_frown:
