Same. Had a few Mosaics yesterday and when the keg kicked we all went to another IPA and promptly missed Mosaic Punch. Such a great beer.

This is where I find myself. Not going to stop patronizing the place but gone are the days when I max out on cans at the brewery. I still only get there once every six weeks but will now get only a 4 pack or two of each beer. Just way too costly. I feel like there will be a point where there will be a high end and mid level set of independent craft breweries. Think about bourbon. You have your really cheap bottom shelf garbage, then $20ish bottles, then $40ish bottles, and your $60+ bottles. Given the volume I consume (substantial) and my financial situation (good but not great), I buy the $40ish bottles. Some are mass produced nonsense disguised as "artisan", while others are still true, independent distilleries, and with a bit of research I can distinguish between the two.
I think at some point this has to happen with beer. Maybe it already is?

it def has... the difference being most "artisan" stuff isn't in stores... sure some still is but a lot (majority) of what is in stores has to some extent gotten purchased by larger conglomerates with agendas above making quality liquids the number 1 priority

Will be interesting to see how fast it sells out.

4 bottles of the quad is alot for one person.. personally i would usually buy 2 bottles

Whether I'm able to get them or not, this seems to be the future of releases and I have no issues with how they're doing this at all.

I would have liked see some special taps in the brewery available this weekend though. That's what makes brewery anniversaries special in my opinion.

As soon as the parking became an announced issue, I figured they might not go all out as they have in the past, unless it was strictly a Sunday and none of the neighbors complained.

Ive never bought that many bottles of Anniversary beers. One or two is enough for me. Wonder if this, the price, and only a sigle additional bottle slows down any of the craziness, but kinda doubting it

I know its leaving me out. I guess thats the only thing I dislike about ticketed events, you are forced to buy full allotments. There are worse things in the world, enjoy everyone!

Yeah wishing it was more like 3 & 2. I bought 4 of the anny last year and 2 fifth. There was 1000 bottles of Fifth last year wonder how many of the 92 they bottled. I have 2 and 1 left from last year. I will try for these either way, I go enjoy quads and I don't mind the 4 b/c I will let 2 sit for a while like the previous. Just wish I could get 2 of the 92

If you could just fit a few more numerals into that paragraph, that would be grrrrreat.

I wonder if people will try to buy multiple allotments, it doesn't specifically say 1 allotment per person on the site, so you know people are going to try it and screw it up for others

Yeah this exactly. Guessing the resale/trade market on this is going to be busy at first than go wayyyyy down. But the initial sale will be the usual sell out in .5 seconds even if people really arent that interested in this release just due to people wanting to trade...

Thing is the Anny Quad doesn't really trade well, from what I have seen. I never traded it but when I had traded at times and people ask what Kane I have they never are interested in it. you'd be hard pressed to get me to trade the one bottle of the 92

Past years the anniversary quad just sat in the tasting room fridge for weeks. And as much as 92 sounds good, requiring I purchase 4 bottles of quad I don't want to get some? I'll pass. More for the beer traders and secondary market rip off artists.

yeah its a bummer for those who don't like Quads at all, at least for me I really like the style and have enjoyed all the anniversary quads thus far.
