WM just posted details of their Forgotten Barrel Society program. Lots more details via link below but basically $300 annual fee gets you 10 bottles of special release member only beer, tshirt and glass, custom growler, invitation to member only party, and 10% off in taproom.

I am looking forward to this and bonus for not having to camp out overnight! Curious how fast it is going to sell out or if it will be availible for a bit.

They mentioned 300 total memberships, so I'd guess it would last awhile.

I love this place, so close to home and constantly knock it out of the park.

At first glance this scared me a little, gave me a glimpse into the future where all their cool ship and barrel beers were only available in $20-$30 bottle releases, and it scared me.

Hope that isn't the case. Even if it is, their regular taps are DinoMyte

Hopefully it is easy to get for everyone that wants it. I just think it will be interesting with the current beer scene and them being one of very few places to have a membership.

I guess we will find out Nov 7th.

They allow proxies. I’m not sure if there is any non-locals that know them well enough to invest in a membership program, but for well-known breweries it is a factor. I am not aware of any other breweries in the state besides Lakes and Legends () with a similar program. Forager and Barrel Theory have memberships, but they include 0 and 1 included beers, respectively.

If I lived closer, and had the free time, this would be extremely tempting.

I actually see the biggest benefit of this membership being the growler that you can use to fill ANY beer in tap. I'm sure that the bottles included will all be great, but when I have visited in the past a large number of beers on tap have not been available for growler fill. If I'm reading the details correctly , I can just bring my magic growler in and tell them to fill it up with whatever I want. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

That is the way I am reading it. They currently allow you to fill any beer with the limited amount of 750ml swing tops they used for a release some time ago. Wonder if they will still allow that or if it is going to be members only now.

I’m guessing it’s the same 750mL growler as before. I already have one, but I would really like another. I’m always disappointed when I can only bring one limited release home.

I hope I can still use mine. Would be kind of crappy to those that were on board early to stop allowing fills with it. I use mine fairly frequently.

I agree and after borrowing a friend's for a bit I have been trying to figure out how to get one for myself.

Looks like I can get one for $300!

If you throw in 10 old IPAs from the back of the fridge over the course of the year and you may have a deal.

I have 2 Zimas and a Blue Moon cappuccino from earlier this year with your name on them.

I actually have two any-tap refillable 750's and an original Surly Growler.

I'll sell all three for half of your soul...

Not surprised as a lot of people I have talked to have mentioned the price was a little too steep for them, but looks like there are still spots.

I decided to jump on it as I have enjoyed their beers (and decided not to re-join The Bruery Reserve Society... though those bastards did a payment plan for it, so I may still reup) and want to feel like I belong to something.

Anyone crack their barrel no. 1 yet? Haven't picked mine up yet, but I was happy to hear this was the first release since it's one of my favorite styles.

Also, the guy at the tap room told me a lambic style with peaches is next up!
