    Disallowing comments?

I guess you could say they are putting a latte neckbeer'd tears into the void.

Just have to hope there is less than 600 people in the initial run and head over around 1 or so.

At a minimum, 720 people will have access to full allotment. Good on Tired Hands for recognizing demand and doing their best to spread the beer around. Wish other breweries local to me *cough*Other Half*cough* would take note... :pensive:

1380 for the shake. If they mark people's hands upon purchase (they did that for the Para), that will make it to the night.

I am glad I got to see some of them before they shut them off.

If you're looking for the meltdown entertainment, just tune into the comments on the 2nd to last post on their 'gram account.

Is this what the allotment was last year? Should this be a surprise? I was planning to go early but I'll probably aim to get there around 1-1:30 unless the Insta posts say the line is in the next town over. Should be able to walk in and grab an allotment at a reasonable time, no?

Exact same allotment as last year, except this year they have a milkshake

Last year the allotments were 1 pp as well. There were about 750 allotments total, so about what they have for coffee, less than they have for blackberry-raspberry-vanilla, and way less than for the 'shake.

I showed up around 11, was probably 300th-400th in line. Got my beer right around 1. IIRC, the line was 2-ish hours long until they shut it down, and they ran out around 3:30.

I would imagine at 1 PM, you will almost certainly get the 'shake, and probably the BRV. Coffee could be dicey; it's supposed to be a warm and very nice day, like it was last year, unless the 'shake brings more people out. You might still have to wait in a very long line though, I doubt there will be any waltzing in and getting a full allotment by then. The line behind me was going strong when I got up to the front last time around, and no 'shake then.

Yeah this shouldn't be a surprise at all.

Last year was a slow line with selling merch at the same time. Hopefully they do that separatly or add more registers.

No benefit to anyone going over there before 8am and putting down a chair... As someone who is there pretty regularly (luckily or sadly I havent missed a release since July) once they say 8am anyone that has a chair down before that will get jumped when they open up the area near the bike racks.. The allotments are going to easily cover anyone that is there before noon.

"If you plan on lining up for this release, please refrain from doing so, both on our property or Ardmore's, until 8:00 a.m."

So wait ... can you park your car and hang out in your car until 8? If not, there will be a line of cars waiting to get in from 7:45-8:15 and I can't see that being good.

Yea... this whole thing confuses me. Why do I foresee there being x amount of people there before 8, waiting to get in line? I don't know how it is nowadays with the 2pm thing during the week, but when it was 12pm during the week, I remember people lining up pre-noon with their chairs. Once noon came, they dropped their chairs and left for the most part. Are they saying they just want a mad rush of people to dash towards the Ferm and form a line at 8, no sooner? Just thinking out loud here

Halfway down the second street. No visible staff but they don’t appear to be enforcing not being here before 8.

Yep down Athens. No enforcement of line. Already a mess.
