    Getting in before NBS ends

Received this blind beer in the NBS BIF.
I couldn't open my blind beer last Sunday. My apologies to @swenny916 but sometimes a stomach bug wins.

So I poured this brown paper can
    [IMG]

A: Pours a cloudy Apricot colored hue. Starts with a solid head but it quickly dissipated
S: Peach and Apricot with some sour notes. Hint of Bret?
T: Sour peach, Apricot, slightly sour. Some hop bitterness. As it warms it gets sweeter. Taste of guava and mango
Mf: Thick almost syrupy. Very full feel, alcohol isn't present at all.
O: A little on the sweet side for me, but enjoyable.

So what is this mystery beer:

Enjoying a superb beer courtesy of @SammyJaxxxx! This may be a theme going forward seeing as how many insane beers Greg has sent me for the NBS BIF. I poured this when there was still some sunlight but now enjoying this one inside and watching some recorded football. Onward to the review!

16oz can poured into a snifter. Just under a month old.

Golden orange with less than a finger head that vanishes quickly. Very little lacing and not much visible carbonation.

Melon and citrus on the nose.

Taste has tangerine, dank citrus, bitter pine, creamy vanilla, cantaloupe, and tropical fruit. It's like a boozy hoppy fruit milkshake.

Feel is awesome. It drinks much more full bodied than most 9% beers these days. It reminds you it ain't no session beer.

Overall an excellent offering! First one from SingleCut and I'm very impressed.

    Well Hello Late Night NBS.

A snail goes into his Datsun dealership. (Younger ones, Google Datsun- I just dated myself).
He tells the salesman, "I really want that red 280Z."
"I'll be more than happy to help you, sir," responds the salesman who is jazzed that he doesn't have to work this sale at all.
"But there's one thing you must do for me," notes the snail.
    "Yes, sir?"
"I want the "Z" to be replaced by an "S," declares the snail.
"I'm sure I can help you with that. But, if I may ask. Why?" says the befuddled salesman.
"Oh, when I go driving by, I want all of the people to see me, and say, "Wow, look at that S car go!"

    Bad, I know.

Well here's something good. Another goody from the generosity of @FlintB and the destruction he laid upon me.

Pours a golden straw hue with slight haze. Frothy white head, two just shy of 2 fingers quickly retreats. Almost no lacing.
Smell begins with a sharp citrus note akin to lemongrass. Then goes in a slightly earthy dank direction. But remains bright.
Flavor is carried by a creamy mouthfeel. Citrus notes are more subdued than in the aroma. Slight readiness comes through with a gentle drying bitterness.
    Mouthfeel is NEIPA .
Overall, I like this one. maybe if the flavor followed the nose closer I'd like it even better, but a fine beer nonetheless.

Hope all is well man! You've been one of my favorite regulars in here and WBADYN over the past couple years. No need to go out in a blaze of glory. We'd all prefer a nice steady flame of awesomeness. Cheers!

I can't think of a good joke right now. Only really lame jokes, or at least they seem lame now, that my friends and I thought were funny when we were like 12. It is hard not to be down sometimes about all the shit going on in the world. That's for sure. My new beer for this edition of NBS is Tri City brewing Company's Oktoberfest. A damn fine representation of the style I feel.

I hope all is ok. You've been one of our solid NBSer's, and I'd be bummer to see you go.

    Happy NBS all y'all!
No beer to contribute today, but I just had to pop in and say that it's giving me a case of the old warm and fuzzies popping back in and reading this thread again after having a technological shaped hole in my life for almost this whole year.
Good to see many names I recognize, and always good to see a bunch of new ones as well.

Cheers all y'all, and I look forward to rejoining in full in the near future!!
