Bottle Logic Brewing (Fall/Winter 2017)

Got busy and totally forgot. I'm sure someone in here will want to give me a bottle, right???

 

dat butterbeer.... this may be the 8 pours I got of it... but that needs to be bottled.

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to bottle that beer." -Dumbledore... maybe?

 

I emailed Lindsay asking her to ask the Eventbrite team about the Zero quantity drop down menu issue and she said she'd ask them. Fingers crossed that they find something.

 

Really got to remember to set a reminder for these sales, I totally forgot, oh well, maybe I can get a draft pour.

 

That's basically my logic (no pun intended) when it comes to BL's bottle sales. If I get them I'm stoked, but if I don't I can pretty easily drive down from LA to the tasting room. Even when I missed out on FS I drove down and grabbed a half pour or full pour or whatever they were doing that day. Do that, go hit Green Cheek or Bruery or grab lunch at Salt And Ash or somewhere in Ahaheim/Orange...you don't NEED to acquire it to be able to enjoy it.

 

Had it in my cart at least 3 times and it dropped at checkout every single time. Oh well, at least I got the 1 bonus bottle from Level Up. Can't win 'em all.

 

But if you don't acquire it, you can't trade it for NE IPAs.

 

I almost ended on a similar note but didn't want the thread devolve into a people-only-buy-them-to-trade-them debate or whatever.

 

Yeah but most of them are noticeably better out if the bottle. Not that I understand why.

 

Quality issues aside, I think the post I was responding to was more about how missing out on a bottle isn't the end of the line. You can grab a pour from the source if you want to try it; the bottle itself is just a tangible object you can take home or trade.

i don't see the resemblance either.

 

maybe it's just me. to me layout and style of the artwork has a resemblance. and, in the case of FO, the color scheme



could be taking crazy pills

 

At first I thought it was aged in barrels for 3 minutes and I was thinking they are really chincing out these days.

Then I realized it said 3 months which is better but still seems short.

 

3 months! Why bother?

 

Not even close.

 

If there was vanilla in that BA Porter then I would say there is a small similarity. Without that...
