Very consistent with 2016 b2. Really good stuff.

I was thrilled to finally be in Michigan at the time of one of these releases (and for the BNSS to not have snuffed out bigleague yet)

Their taplist was also pretty crazy when I stopped by yesterday. I think I counted 10 BA beers, and that didn't include sours.

 

I can confirm that Black Note is still available in the general store as of 2:30pm Friday. Also a lttle bit of Upper Hand still here (looks like just Escanaba Black and Lager).

 

Still available as of 9 PM, I asked and they said there’s still a quite a bit left.

 

Any idea when Black Note will be distributed to IL?

 

Anyone know if it's stil around? Thanks!

 

Just picked up 4 4-packs 20 mins ago and they still had more. Not sure if they’ll last to the end of the day but when I called to check, they answered quickly and were very helpful. Anyone who is curious could call the General Store to ask.

Ha, would love to, but from where I am currently living (Bloomington, In), it'd be...a very far drive. =/. Wanted to try over the weekend, but sometimes stars don't align!

 

If memory serves, the foliage is damn pretty in Bloomington this time of year...so it ain't all bad.

BN availability going on 10 days - almost hard to believe.

 

Yeah, no joke. When I called Monday, I couldn't believe how much they still had. Dogs and cats living together-MASS HYSTERIA!

 

BN hit distro twice last year and lost its whale status. Loss of whale status = loss of trade value. Loss of trade value means it sits in the general store for 2 weeks and is purchased by those who wish to consume it (instead of by those who would normally hoard it with the intention of trading it) .

 

I agree about the trade value loss, but lasting 10 days for a top notch BA stout is really against the grain. Especially at ~$6/bottle.

My gut feeling is it is because this is a no frills BA stout. There's no vanilla beans, coconut, etc for people to lose their mind over.

Perhaps a good sign of things to come in Michigan.
