Word. If Slow Boat's not highly recommended, then this list isn't even worth the pixels it's encoded on... SAD!

Pear deli closed 9/30. I had noticed they weren’t really stocking up on beer, and was going to suggest their removal for that reason...guess there was another reason.

It’s a restaurant and it’s included in the list above (with a link).

I actually meant that to be Populuxe. For some reason, I confuse the two despite not really being comparable.

Also too, people who call me out for my errors get added to the list of potential volunteers for updating this thread when I get tired of it.

Good morning, all. I will be visiting Seattle next week. I'm big into IPAs. Any readily available ones that you guys would recommend? Staying in Pike Place Market. I would be fine with cans or crowlers. Don't really feel like lugging any growlers back to Chicago. Probably will check out a couple of the breweries and bottle shops in the lists above that are within walking/ubering distance of our hotel. Thanks!

Georgetown Bodhizafa (cans) and Reubens Triumvirate have both won awards at the national level. Bale Breaker is always solid for cans. Reubens cans a couple IPAs, and does crowlers at the brewery. You'll be right next to Cloudburst, which usually has no less than 5 IPAs on tap (only pre filled growler to go however). Check out Chucks Hop Shop (tap list is online, but I'm net-nannied at work) and Flatstick Pub (http://www.flatstickpub.com/flatstick-pub-pioneer-square-tap-list/) - they fill crowlers - look for anything from Skookum, Urban Family, Structures...

The new IPA from Bale Breaker, Leota Mae, is excellent. I had assumed I’d go back to Bodhizafa as my go-to, always-in-my-fridge IPA once I work through my fresh hop backlog - and I still will, but Leota Mae will be in there as well. We’re spoiled to find canned sizers of such great IPAs at the supermarket.

Seattle Beer Co. is right there at Pike and has a solid tap list.

I will add that I also enjoy visiting Old Stove when I'm in that area. I believe they now have a couple of locations that are right around the market.

I concur. There is one can left in our fridge, and though I will be happy to sink it tonight, I will also be sad that there is no more in the house.

Stopped by Cloudburst last night after dinner. Really liked Fool’s Errand and Honorable Mention. Thanks again for the rec!

Had my first Cowiche Canyon last night & wow! Wish they had it on draft because I would have picked up a few more 22's over the F2F's.
