....because I can't have Founders Breakfast Stout every morning.

Well I could, but I'd run out - and I love Imperial Biscotti Break!

Cheers, BAs - enjoy your Tuesday!

Recycled image, live beer. Cheers all... Do you want TMI? OK, well I went a little AWOL from this feed as Saturday night was a little rough. Stayed waaaayyyy too long at Half Acre (I know, deja bu) and then proceeded to have a fun-filled evening of bad directions, missed Lyft rides, and an L train turnstile incident that mangled several fingers. F**K. But back at it.
No excuses at 47. So back to one of my standbys at this time of day.

Had this on tap a short while ago and thought it was wonderful. Really disappointing from the bottle, unfortunately, at least compared to fresh from the tap.

My post from earlier this afternoon would not upload - nothing special, a grande San Miguel on tap:

Now back at the room with something new - "Toro De Osborne", a Sherry Barrel Aged Beer:

I like the creamy caramel taste with the dry, subtle bite of Sherry. Interesting and good. Cheers from Malaga!

Well, it is chilly outside . . .

Clear golden color with white cap and lacing.

Cascade, Northern Brewer and Hallertau Tradition hops give this one a light, floral, spicy air with a smidge of malt aroma in the background.

Flavor on entry is made up of equal parts of malt and the combined hops. Well balanced, neither leaning toward malt or hops, it comes across as a relatively complex though nondescript generic pale ale whose best attribute seems to be it's friendly drinkability.

Uggghhh not looking forward to having to go and wrangle the oak branch in the side yard that has half broken off and is slamming the house with the wind. Up about twenty feet. Fun. This delicious beer will help I'm sure.

A cold, windy and wet morning run followed by a dog walk in the same miserable conditions has me feeling like I've been kicked in the you know where.

This should help thaw my frozen bones while the mutts pine to go back outside. Damn this beer is dangerously drinkable!
