If anyone missed out on the Double Speedway release, please feel free to PM me. One of my buddies decided he no longer wanted his bottles after all, so I have an extra set of 2 that I’ll give up to another fellow BA for cost. Will have to pick up in SoCal. Just doing you guys a favor

Just found out my 2 bottles of double barrel speedway stout are arriving next week. Do I pop a bottle open in the very near future or let it sit for a bit? Thanks, it will probably be shared with a few other BA beer.

Had a great time visiting yesterday. Fun to try Butterfinger Speedway in the main tasting room, and Anvil & Stave had a killer list. Single Barrel Speedway 2017 was far and away my favorite of the bunch. I liked the slight candied fruit flavor imparted by the port barrels in DBSS, but will still probably sit on a bottle to see where it goes in 6-12 months.

Those hawaiian speedways need to be drank up within a couple months. The adjuncts fall away to become regular speedway. So way to much money for reg speedway.

Does the barrel aged grand prix sell out? I noticed that the others don't normally sell out but couldn't find out about the barrel aged beers. I'd rather save my $2 in Eventbrite fees if possible.

I believe it sold out for the friday session last year...but wednesday and thursday had tickets available at the door, at least earlier in the day while I was there. So there is that. I recommend buying online, but that is just to guarantee it. If you are local enough, they are selling them in person at the brewery as well.

Last year was the first year of the VIP / BA lap, so now that people know about it....it would be tough to guess if it will sell out online.

Sorry for a rather nonhelpful answer.

Not sure when they posted the 3rd of 4 variants per lap, but that VIP lap keeps getting better and better. PB viet speedway is great, I can only imagine with it would taste like as BA

On paper, it looks a bit stronger than the past couple years. Nothing that sounds like an outright tire fire, a couple that could be questionable (what's the "kickin'" aspect in Kickin' Coconut?), and several that should be outstanding.

I see 1 in each lap, belgian ale / julian pie / campfire s'more that might be on my "drink really really fast" list. Liquid Smoke Speedway last year ruined any smoke in a speedway base for me. That one was very tough. I even got to one of the days late after my friends and in the center of the table was basically all of their liquid smoke tasters.

That TodFather should be quite delicious. I found that his regular house-roasted coffee speedway tasted very close to Hammerhead...so a potentially BA Hammerhead will be cool.

by drink really fast you mean that you want the alcohol but not the taste? if so i think i agree but luckily vip doesnt have that problem
