    10/24 releases...

Still Striving (DEBUT) is a brand new 8% DIPA from us. We constantly are trying new malt profiles, hopping techniques, sugar sources, etc. Always striving to make the perfect DIPA. This one is a step closer on the eternal quest. Hopped intensely with Galaxy, Mosaic, and Citra. Different quantities at different times.
    Shooting for approx 215-230x cases. $16.50+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

Lil Kitty Boi’s Day Off (DEBUT) is a recipe mash up of our 100% Citra crusher IPA Broz Day Off and our 100% Simone crusher IPA Lil Kitty Boi. Clocking in at 4.8% and hopped intensely 50/50 with Citra and Simcoe, this IPA is so good! The ultimate hoppy crusher.
    Shooting for approx 220-235 cases. $14+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

Child Support w/ Hallertau Blanc (DEBUT) is our unfiltered 4.5% house hoppy Pilsner. The rad thing about Child Support is that it's single hopped with a rotating hop varietal. This batch we used Hallertau Blanc!
    Shooting for approx 80-100 cases. $13+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

Broz Broz Night Night is the double dry-hopped version of our 9% Citra DIPA Broz Night Out. This one turned out insane. We love the base beer, but with the DDH treatment, it's just crazy. Just in time for the new season of Stranger Things too!
    Shooting for approx 170-190 cases. $18.50+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person.

Ugh. Thanks for this synopsis. So much for my plan of "rollin thru" on Wednesday evening en route to Va Beach. Suppose I'll aim to snag crowlers from Triple Crossing, The Answer and/or FG.

Richmond brewery raises 11K for children’s mental health
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Veil Brewing Co. raised $11,000 at its second Forever Summer Fest in Scott’s Addition.

Forever Summer Fest benefits local nonprofit, ChildSavers. The money raised advances ChildSavers’ mission of providing trauma-informed therapy to children and professional development and coaching for child care providers. The Veil says the amount was nearly double what the event raised last year.

Six hundred people attended over the course of a day to taste brews from Bissell Brothers, Cloudwater, Hill Farmstead, Stigbergets Bryggeri, Tired Hands and Oxbow.

“ChildSavers’ work is so important to Richmond. When we were thinking about what we wanted Forever Summer Fest to be about, we wanted an opportunity to give back in a big way to an organization making children’s lives better. ChildSavers was the unanimous choice,” said Dave Michelow, one of The Veil’s owners.

No change in can limits for today (everything 1 case/pp) but seems like they have quite a bit of draft carrying over due to the high limits on pre-filled Crowlers.....

As always check the Veil fb page Wednesday when you're closer to arriving, and usually the BTV group does a decent job of posting when cans sell out. Hopefully you could snag something but Triple Crossing cans/crowlers and Answer/FG crowlers are a damn fine "consolation prize."

It seems like 90% of the Veil DIPAs are some combination of Citra, Mosaic and the occasional Galaxy. Really wish they would try to use some more hop varieties.

Shhhhh.....You are getting yourself in to deep and about to crack their code! They don't expect many people to analyze their beers to that depth. Just that their many news names MUST mean the beer itself is almost completely new not that every IPA/DIPA/TIPA is basically the same thing as others to come before it with just minor changes in hops, hops ratios, when the hops are added, etc. :nerd:

If too many catch on to it they may even take away descriptions completely leaving just names and it's up us to guess what's in them.

I love that Little Kitti Boi's Day Off, I'm going back to hopefully get more of that today. The Lord Lord Shredder Shredder actually turned out to be really good too I thought. I wasn't into the whole orange juice thing when I read the description, but it really didn't show much in the beer.

I also enjoyed Lil Kitty Boi. Haven't had the Still Striving yet. thoughts? read some comments elsewhere they "thought" it was still Green. But thats pretty typical comment from beer people

    Halloween releases....
    __________________________________
Never Dead is our Halloween inspired variant of our house Gose named Never. For this variant we conditioned the 4.9% base beer on 400lbs of sour gummi worms and 300lbs of sour patch kids. This one is mind blowing! It smells and tastes like a freshly opened bag of sour gummi worms or sour patch kids. This one is a little more sour than some of the previous variants, but it’s not over the top sour. We love how this turned out. We love the holographic label on this one too!
Shooting for 170-195 cases. $17.50+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person

CREEP is a new 9% DIPA from us. With this one, we wanted to create a fuller bodied DIPA with some intentional residual sweetness without adding lactose. **CREEP DOES NOT CONTAIN LACTOSE!** We then added a ton of whole pumpkin pies to the mash resulting in a subtle flaky pie crust character with the slightest hint of pumpkin pie spice. Then we hopped CREEP intensely with Enigma, Motueka, and a touch of Citra hops. Pumped on this one for sure! If y’all dig this one, we plan on bringing it back next fall as a once-a-season brew. So grab it now while you can!
Shooting for approx 190-210 cases. $17+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person

GooseGooseBumpzBumpz - This is the double dry-hopped version of our 8% DIPA Goosebumpz featuring an even blend of Mosaic, El Dorado, and Amarillo hops. This one is bombed the heck out. This was a single batch, so this is going to be a smaller canning run.
Shooting for approx 85-105 cases. $18+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person.

    Peanut Butter Cup Hornswoggler
    - For this Halloween inspired variant, we took our 7% robust chocolate milk stout and conditioned it on 600lbs of chocolate chips, 1,000lbs of locally made chocolate peanut butter from our friends at Reginald's Homemade, and 100lbs of Reese’s pieces. Creamy, velvety, liquid chocolate, swirled with fresh, rich peanut butter. Ugh! So good! We’ve been working on giving the base beer a bit more body too. I think y’all are really going to dig this one! **WARNING:CONTAINS NUTS** We will be putting a sticker on this can that says "Contains Nuts" for the folks who may have an allergy.
Shooting for approx 140-160 cases. $18+tax/4-pack. 6x 4-packs/1x case per person

We will also be hiding 10x Golden Tokens(seen in front of the can) underneath the 4-pack holders(only on Hornswoggler cans). Find one of these coins and give it to a staff member behind the bar to receive a free Golden Hornswoggler glass(as seen in the picture in this post; the Hornswoggler himself is on the back side of the glass)! This is the ONLY way to get your hands on this glass. We will never sell this glass. It is only acquired if you are the lucky few to find a Golden Token.

We will also be pouring a cask conditioned 5 gallon pin of Hornswoggler conditioned on ton of Snickers and Twix. This will be tapped at 4pm and we are anticipating it will kick fast. So get there early if you want to try this one.

I bet something will be left, agree that Creep is most likely. Even though goses and horns are a big draw, it's a Halloween night release. Lots of folks have other obligations so I bet turnout won't be what it would be otherwise. I would expect above average turnout on Wednesday this week.
