"Aside from their delicious beer, we love the people at Other Half Brewing Company in Brooklyn. Built upon the same ethics as the Tiger, the people at Other Half are an exceptional example of great management, passion, hard work and love -- across the board -- for the NYC craft beer community. Their vision was to build a passionate team that brewed great beers in the state of New York—done so with effort and thoughtfulness—to represent the “Other Half” of the industry. One si...p of any of their beers proves the effort and thoughtfulness paid off in a major way.

We are wholeheartedly thrilled to have Other Half take over our taps this Wednesday beginning at 3:00pm. One look at the list below and we think you’ll understand you’ll want to get here early for this one."

I used to live close to the current location and very close to the prior one. Had some great times there but definitely not in the last 5 years or so

Ive had plenty of good experiences at BT but I usually go on the weekends earlier in the day when I'm staying in the area. The busy hours are horrendous for sure.

I know it’s not an option for most people but its a great spot to take an extended lunch break. I went for the J Wakefield event yesterday and had a great time.

I was there for last year's big OH event with the crazy collabs, was bonkers but everyone there is super friendly (the staff as well as the drinkers). Any thoughts on the AIE cask; am I being overly simplistic to image that's just a warm, slightly less carbonated version of AIE?

Maybe a “NEIPA” is going to be different, but (and I LOVE cask ales to be clear) any American (D)IPA cask I’ve ever had as been a disappointment - those beers need the cooler temps and carbonation of a keg to cut through the sweetness and the hops. Also BT’s handling of casks (like most bars in NYC) has always been fairly weak

Blind tiger is going to be a total shit show, may as well stay on the F another 20 minutes and just go to the brewery.

Kinda crazy that as good as that taplist is, you can get like half of those beers on tap at the brewery now. The cask version of AIE sounds interesting as does the Nitro Smokescreens and the Barrel Aged Stouts since I don't believe any of those were released on draft?

I wonder if the fact that Mylar and Simcoe were both criticized as being 'off' for their last releases has anything to do with them being chosen for Syracuse?

Maybe smaller batches to dial them back in? Interesting either way.

BT did a Troegs event a couple years back and they had 3 hop knife variations on cask with different hops. I really enjoyed them as it showcased each hops notes. My palette was definitely expanded that night.

wasn't forever simcoe on the release list for this week? I was expecting it to be a mid-week.

Is it possible that the double release next weekend is why the limits are lower for this weekend? Maybe smaller batches to accommodate for brewing up an additional 3 batches for Syracuse?
