I prefer the Brew Cafe hands down, but I think they did a nice job on the Fermentaria, it is industrial, but I like seeing the tanks and sometimes get to see them doing some interesting stuff in the brew area.

How in the world did you guys shoehorn Tired Hands into this discussion, y'all are obsessed. There is nothing perfect or nice about the settings of any of their properties. On the other hand, Hidden River sure is a nice setting for a brewery. I also Like the outdoor seating areas of both Four Dogs Tavern in West Chester, PA and The Whip Tavern in Coatesville, PA.

This site isn't a 6 degrees from Tired Hands? I will probably make it my mission to bring the convo back around to it regardless of topic.
    Yes Hidden River is great.

I got married in Lake Placid 5 years ago this summer and we had a big party the day before at LP Brewery in the tents on the lawn outside, tons of fun, this spot has a special
    place in my heart.

Forest & Main is one of my favorite places too. There's something so enjoyable about sitting in that old house and throwing back pints of whatever they have on cask. Their dark milds are out of this world. Great food and tunes as well.

Czig Meister in Hackettstown, NJ has a really cool tap room and outdoor beer garden.

Always enjoy visiting either solo or with the family in tow, as they are very much family friendly.

Doesn't hurt that the staff and ownership are good people and make good beer to boot!

When I saw the title of this thread Suarez sprung to mind immediately. District 96 also has a comfortable and relaxing tap room, though not in as scenic an area. It's a delight to spend some time sipping in both of these. I too wish I lived closer to both (40 min. to Suarez, 50 min. to Dist. 96 for me.)

I enjoyed Tröegs quite a bit for the Harrisburg area.

I haven't been to too many places like this, especially in VA. Legend Brewing in Richmond has a great patio with an incredible view of the river and the city on the other side of it, but for some reason I never feel like staying there long. Their beers are not great and the food/service is pretty bad.

The only combination of great, inviting space and great beer that I can think of is the Tired Hands Brew Cafe, I can easily sit there for hours and never want to leave.

Almost forgot because it's probably my favorite for this conversation but I have sat out front of Blue Mountain many a time. That place is the definition of bucolic and was an awesome addition to the area whenever I go back and visit the ol college stomping grounds.

The one time I went to Threes it was filled with obnoxious bros and bro-ettes.

There are many taprooms In the Finger Lakes with awesome views. Sadly their beers don't match the settings.

Can definitely be true, but I would STRONGLY recommend Young Lion and Nedloh in Canandaigua. Both great -- and different -- views with beers that do match up.

The ambience one finds under an overpass is just ideal. The McDonalds wafting around the air as one struggles to find a secret coin to use the restroom and trash can after trash can filled with 4am Dark Lord shares creates a pastoral picture like none other.
