Yeah it seems i was just late to the game. I went out to the beverage center in Shippensburg over lunch and they said they sold out over the weekend.

I don't necessarily equate haze with how good a beer is. In fact, I had a Trillium Dialed In last night, followed by this year's Born Yesterday, and then finally a Celebration Ale. And the Celebration Ale (far from a hazy IPA) was the best of the bunch. But in Born Yesterday's case, at least last year, there was a distinct difference in flavor between those that were hazy and those that weren't.

Two pictures from last year, both purchased in the Boston area.

First, the not-so-hazy Born Yesterday 2016

And the turbid/hazy Born Yesterday from 2016

And then this year's both on draft and in the bottle...

Just like this year's is in between in terms of haziness, I'd also place this one in between in terms of flavor and preference.

    1) Turbid Born Yesterday 2016
    2) Born Yesterday 2017
    3) Not so Turbid Born Yesterday 2016

I respect your criticism of my half assed boycott but born yesterday is only thing that interested me anymore either. Waldo's was a big fav of mine also but I didn't like this years that much, too sweet.

Enjoying this year's iteration but not enough to go hunting for a second 6-pack.

I was at Jewel yesterday and saw this on the shelves, so decided to buy a 6-pack. I didn't really need any more beer in my fridge, but I've enjoyed this one in the past. I'll crack one in the coming days to see how it is.

Can't remember if these Lagunitas bottles have them on the neck or the sticker

I noticed that my 6 pack purchased yesterday didn't use the Julian code, but just a regular date (10/16/17). I was pretty surprised (and happy) about that.

SOL. Forgot that they print proper dates once a year.

I'll tell ya...I can smell this beer forever. Drinks pretty good too. A little citrusy sweetness, a lot of dank. This is good.

My 2017 bottles say mosaic, Amarillo and equinox (and ‘other...’)

Looked up images of 2016 bottles and they say the same.

I wasn't a big fan of last year's Born Yesterday. I picked up a 6 pack with trepidation a couple days ago and I was happy to find out that it's very close to the Born Yesterday that I loved 2 years ago. I'll be picking up more of this.

Our bottles say, "Borned 10/16/17". Besides the fact that 'borned' is not a word (says my English major spouse) if Lagunitas has a date printer that can do this for one beer, they can do it for all of them, right?

Indeed. Regardless, Lagunitas is my favorite national brewery. As long as they stamp something that refers to a date, I will go out of my way to figure it out.

They can but most of their beer sits on shelves for months on end so they probably don't want people to easily see the date but with BY they're proud of how fresh it is and it flies off the shelf so they print the date clearly.

Maybe they sit near you. I happen to like them and buy a range of them throughout the year. They provide good value across the board in my opinion.
