New to Ohio (2017)

    I am visiting Columbus next week and was hoping to find some Backwoods, some Jackie O's, and some Wulver. Can anyone suggest a good bottle shop for these? I used to hit The Andersons General Store, but I just found out it's closed! Any help would be appreciated!

    What area of Columbus will you be in? If Dublin, the Whole Foods should have some of that (don't think they have Wulver though).

    If you are willing to explore a bit further I would recommend Weiland's or Kenny Rd. Market. Honestly for Backwoods you have a better chance at a grocery store as many of the chains (GE, Kroger, etc.) are getting cases of it..thus it stays around for a while.

    Thanks for the tips! I'll be near Ohio State, Dublin, and also Lancaster. Would love to find some Wulver!

    Yeah, I normally do that. However, I might not be able to make it out this time. The bottle list to go looks really good right now though.....

    Yea, i'm going down in a couple weeks and hope to see some left. But either way, i will be at JO's so it will all be good.

    I am wondering if Ohio is even getting any of this. I know there has been a distributor change with Lagunitas that has caused this delay. Anyone know any updates on Born Yesterday?

    Was told it just showed up to distributor yesterday. Some places might receive it today, depending on their delivery schedule.

    Drinking some Black Maple now. House of Wines in Marietta got a shipment in (along with Backwoods Bastard) this afternoon.

    Just a heads-up, the Giant Eagle in Grandview has a large stash of JOs bottles including some vintage stuff. I'm assuming they're leftovers from last week's tap takeover/event. If you're in the OSU area, it's worth popping in. They probably still have some things on tap as well if you have the time.

    That's their former wholesaler. They are now with Superior Beverage Group, at least in Central and NE Ohio.

    Thanks for the head's up. Premium needs to update their webpage. Just grabbed some Citrus Noel - looking forward to trying one tonight. Thanks again for the replacement Bodhi a few months back and the tour. Additionally, the last batch of Creeper was a home run & the Yakima was great as usual.

    That would make sense then! I keep checking Premium's "Where to Buy" section but they don't have Born Yesterday as an option under Lagunitas.
