Since you asked, you should see the 4-packs on the shelves for $12-15, depending on where you are and what the particular store's markup is.

Someone asked me just today why they should buy the BBA 3Beans vs. the Bourbon County. Off the top of my head I said,

    - For roughly the same price, you will get 4 beers instead of just one beer

    - Ours comes in cans

    - It tastes better

    - We're not InBev.

Oh, and I should have mentioned its not infected either.

Yes, this will be making it to the Cleveland area as well. We don't have distribution in Alaska yet (sorry Braden).

On another note, we discussed this yesterday, but because I was just asked again this morning on our pre-orders for this beer, "Why should I buy the BBA 3Beans vs. the Bourbon County?"

Off the top of my head I said,

    - For roughly the same price, you will get 4 beers instead of just one beer

The label also shows the brewery as 'SIXPOINT BREWERY'. Should we change the brewery name references too? Everything is in caps on the label. Blame their art department.

Yeah, it really has more to do with the font we use though. Our art department is standing by if you want to handle your beef with them. :-)

You know I am picking up a couple of 4 packs. I am still at a loss as to why people who like and care about Craft beer buy product from AB/InBev. "I buy what tastes good" is really not a valid answer if you give a crap about craft beer.
OK My soap box is put away.

InBev or not, BCBS is superior to anything from Sixpoint. And I don't even buy Goose Island anymore.

You have not even tried these three beers yet, so how can you make a statement like that? Only people like @frozyn @jrnyc @SixpointJMH are really qualified to offer that opinion, as they've actually tried the beers. And the consensus is positive, to say the least!

IMHO the porter style simply lends better for the blending in these purposes. Our addition of the cold-brewed Finca El Injerto coffee is also the x-factor, which we blend into the beer AFTER the barrel aging is done. This ensures that coffee flavor is as fresh as possible.

The beer is not completely dark either - hold it up to the light, and its a very deep ruby brown, like a true porter.

Alright, so it's a Brown Porter or Baltic Porter. Then we can't really compare BEANS to BCBS. Two distinctly different styles. Here's that "apples-to-oranges" phrase again.

You knew what style it was all along - don't try to weasel your way outta this!

The question was what was a better beer (all things considered, including format, price, stability issues, etc.) - not what was a better stout, btw.

Wait...BCBS doesn't have tart cherries in it??? :astonished: Dammit! I want my refund check!

Jokes aside, I'm not supporting them ever again after that crap.
