    Today is a national holiday (All Saint's Day) and the city is a ghost town. A tasty local session IPA to start the afternoon - "Fishbone" by hecatombe brewing co., Sevilla:



    Grapefruit nose and bitter lemon rind taste. Zippy lite feel. Hint of onion in the finish. Columbus, Chinook and Mosaic hops. I like!

    I'm going to try to find a nearby craft beer bar this afternoon. Crossed fingers it's not closed for the holiday. Cheers from Sevilla!

    Our power is back on! Just in time, because it has gotten to be much colder outside. Nice to be warm. The major downside: frost delay at my golf course, looking like 11am tee time.
    Might as well drink a beer while I wait.

    I've found the bar, Viriato, and it has a hecatombe brewing tap takeover going on! First, a pint of the APA - "Lost Horse":



    Skunky hop nose/taste with a little citrus. A tad too watery for me. Ok.

    It's turned cloudy and the temperature is in the mid 40s. To hell with golf, I'm going to drink some more beer. I think I'll alternate between Born Yesterday and Celebration.
