Sierra Nevada Fresh Hop Pack in Cans

Picked one up today. Looking forward to having a few this weekend.

 

Picked one up today and I've already enjoyed the Session IPA.

 

Still waiting to see this in Massachusetts. Hopefully the snowpack shows up today, my distributor said they had them but who knows!

 

I got word today that Sierra Nevada will be releasing another fresh hop pack fairly early next year with all southern hemisphere hops!! Lots of other exciting stuff coming from them in 2018 too. Maybe even a brown ale in the fall?!?

 

Just came across this pack finally and brought it home. So far I have to say that, while tasty, I don't think any of them are any better than Celebration. I haven't tried the double yet, hopefully it will be better than Torpedo. Either way, a cool pack and I'm stoked for it and for the way SN is conducting itself lately. Gotta say, all the 'fresh hop' beers I've had this year just remind me of how much I love wet hop beers. SN harvest was quite nice

 

There aren't too many beers that I'd say are better than Celebration.

I called all the nearest stores that were listed on the Find Beer section on the website, none of them had it anymore. I reckon I'm done searching. I was really most interested in the Double IPA anyways.

 

haha that's true. On reflection I realize I was being pretty overhyped. But I mean, all SN has done is pioneer the craft beer market and basically built the physical and cultural infrastructure that carefully caters to my beer wants and needs, then continued to crank out a variety of respectable to remarkable beers, what's so hard about producing three new seasonal beers that surpass one of my favorite IPAs? It's just a simple modern craft beer consumer request

 

Just finished Fresh Hop IPA, 4.46 rating, a really tasty balanced IPA with lots of citrus and tropical notes. Looking forward to tasting Fresh Hop Double IPA.

 

Last time I checked in the Sierra Nevada search was two days ago, the closest one was in the Target in Charlottesville . I thought about driving two hours down!.

I just searched this morning, there are none within a 100 miles!

So I searched the Total Wine website, the closest one is in Raleigh, NC!

They seem to be getting farther away from me!

At this rate I may have to drive out to Chico!

 

Just picked this up from my local Safeway.

Have yet to try everything in the pack, but the Fresh Hop IPA is fantastic!

I picked up one at that Target last night. There were a couple left then, around 830pm. The SN search is showing me this morning that Target and a Kroger in Waynesboro.

 

But first there will be a pack using all experimental hops due out in January! And yes... there may be a familiar brown ale (and a familiar rye ipa) returning next fall.

 

Great news! How about a particular German ale/lager returning to the Summer pack?

 

Having grown up in NJ, I can tell you it's pretty darn nice to be able to. Learned to re-appreciate that when I lived in a rural area and most stores just about only carried BMC.

Yeah, the Target in Charlottesville is showing up again (restocked their supplies!?!).

I hit up three different places this morning (2 Total Wines) and no luck.

I'll be hitting up 3 places in DC later on this afternoon.
