To help find their beer, outside their brewery (they have their own tap room, where you can buy, drink, and fill growlers), use the following link:

    http://cartonbrewing.com/find-our-beer/

    More info from their website

    http://cartonbrewing.com/

Tasting room availability is posted on Facebook on Wednesday and Saturday before the sessions begin.

Special releases: When there are new cans we set up a table downstairs for efficiency, but outside of those first couple days they are upstairs in the tap room, which is staffed by really nice people.

How to get to Carton (The BOAT STORY)

    The boat from the city:
On weekdays the Atlantic Highlands stop on Seastreak ferry is 5 blocks straight down 1st Ave (.4 miles 8 minutes walk on Google maps)

On weekends there is a shuttle waiting at the Connors Highlands stop on the ferry that will run you over to the Atlantic Highlands stop (if you are nice to the driver they very well may drop you at Carton as you pass)

OR you can take the ferry to Connors Highlands, walk down Shore Drive to Kranky Cyclesand rent a bike (.3 miles-6minute walk on Google maps) and rent a bike. They have motorized and regular cruisers which can be peddled down the Henry Hudson bike path to Carton (2.9 miles 15 minute peddle according to Google maps) as well as out Sandy Hook for some beach time with stops at any of our local seafood shacks along the way.

    * The Henry Hudson bicycle path between Highlands and Atlantic Highlands is currently under construction, and might be finished in early Fall. While you could definitely still rent a bike and go down Route 36, it's a very large hill, and not scenic like the ride along the water.

I can confirm as of Friday, October 27, the Hudson Bike Trail from Highlands (ferry) to Atlantic Highlands was definitely closed.

Totally agree. There are so many O-Dub variants I have not been able to try.

I hope they start to make more of these variants more available and widespread.

I love the Dubviants. I have a special place in my stomach for the underrated Sorachi Ace version. That hop doesn't seem to get as much love as the others. Something about Sorachi in Dub was really different and satisfying to me. I'd love one day for all the Dubviants to spread their wings and reach into distro one day.

Agreed. Also, I sincerely hope one day they show some love to South Jersey and make an 088XX or something similar (not holding my breath)

Might want pick another 3 digit prefix number since it sure looks like most "088__" zip codes are not "South Jersey" (by most definitions) but are mostly in Middlesex, Somerset and Hunterdon counties.

Anything below the union Toll Plaza is South Jersey

I was going to say 08XXX but then I figured it would be best to stick to the "double digit" moniker that 0dub has

I'm fairly new to the state and I always had 195 and the loose "boarder" between north and south. Appreciate the tip though, haha

Is this going to turn into a north/central/south jersey boundary debate?

They do make at least one for South Jersey: 077-08204 (El Dorado) for Cape May.

I'm guessing once the new building is online we'll see many more experiments and varieties of beer being pumped out. :sunglasses:

No, anywhere with a Wawa is South Jersey. If you see a Wawa turn around and head back north. You've gone too far.

He is incorrect. Don't get fooled by his nonsense.

    Yes it is.
