@Kanger any way you guys brought back some of the blue to orange fade tekus? Really would like one to represent my hometown! The dudes at Now and Later are awesome!

This is outstanding, far exceeding my expectations

I gotta say, I’m getting sick of these oat / lactose / wheat / 2% milk IPAs. Water, hops, malt, yeast please. Thank you.

I do not disagree with you (my favorite OH IPAs are non-lactose'd and lighter on the oats), but what is it about the the beers with those adjuncts that's putting you off? Excluding the lactose, it's my understanding that the other adjuncts you listed are actually very common ingredients in NEIPAs (and aren't always disclosed in commercial descriptions for that reason). With respect to OH, they seem to have capitalized on the disclosure of included adjuncts by creating the Dream and Daydream series and evoking the vibe of certain foods (a la Tired Hands with the wildly successful Milkshake series) by focusing on these food-based ingredients. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if nearly all of their IPAs contain some amount of wheat and/or oats at this point.

To me, it's the lactose addition that is most polarizing, and I'd love to see it used more sparingly // not just become the fifth ingredient in the generic NEIPA recipe, as I do find it imparts a specific flavor and feel that often detracts more than it adds. Plus, they're ostensibly losing up to 65% of the market!!(src: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactose_intolerance).

I’m not lactose intolerant but the addition of lactose can be a little much for me. I like to have 3 beers in a session and these lactose beers make that impossible. I just had DDH Oh... and to me, it tasted to me (and could be more appropriately named) DDH Wheat Thins. I’m not really a fan of wheat beers, I actually didn’t know Oh was a wheat/oat beer when I bought it. Which is my own fault. I’m more a fan of the more simple ingredients (which I mentioned in my original comment). Beers don’t have to be more complicated they they should be.

Personally, some of my favorite OH beers have included lactose/oat etc., including Triple Cream and the Daydream series (which I consider better than the other iterations within the single hop series). There have also been high ratings for a number of these types of beers on beeradvocate and untappd. On average, I'll drink a beer, maybe two on any given sitting, so I generally prefer something with a little more "umph" to it. Brewing beer is (in part) about experimentation, so I can't fault OH in tinkering with "fifth" ingredients and seeing how they interact.

Also, what's the word on next Saturday?

I was told it's going to be the Trillium / Jake Wakefield Collab this Saturday (4 beers). That means it will most likely be growler Sunday for me.

I hope the J Wakefield collab is a sour or a stout because the IPAs I've had from them have sucked to be honest. But yea a 4 beer collab release is going to be nuts, I was hoping for something like Like Whoa with a huge batch of a single beer.

J Wake did a stout collab with chocolate, coconut, almonds and a peach/pineapple ipa that are both going into cans, according to his Instagram. Should be next weekend

Are these beers really that different than All Citra Everything?

These beers are super beer geeky which I can appreciate but this to me doesn't seem that exciting for a release. I'd rather just do some tasters side by side and then just get a growler of the one I like the best.

I'm just not all that excited about the concept or the beers in general. Can't see how they would be drastically different from one another.

Might try to trade for a can of each, but I can't see myself lining up for this one.

I also foresee the checkout process being extremely confusing for anyone that isn't maxing out or getting one 4-pack of each.

I can literally hear the buzz of secondary retailers and traders making calls to everyone they know to see who will make the 5am trip with them. "Grandma, will you come to Brooklyn with me Saturday morning?" The 2x 4 pack limit sounds great to me!

A mixed 4 pack option would have been nice here.
