CANBIF, fall 2017.

BOOM! 9.75L of enough BA, DIPA, RIS, and other funky goodies fired off to kill a horse! Hopefully landing by the end of this week via your friendly CP representitive to where my childhood friend lives near Edmonton. No signature require so be prepared!!

Well, my box is packed and it's heading out west tomorrow. It's a box I'd be happy to get. I hope my Target feels the same way.

Got to throw in a last minute addition too, thanks to a delivery from the North East. It's not a local beer, but It's definitely a tree-t.

oddly enough its going back to the province it came from in the spring

 

A sick wife and 11 month old twins cut into beer shopping time this past weekend. This means a few trips are needed this week to fill out the box. I'm trying to get at least one beer of each style mentioned by my target into the box, but may fail on an English classic that just doesn't show up around here often enough, at least in examples worthy of sending.

Once complete - hopefully at the end of the week - the box will be heading east to the province most associated with my family name...

Box has been filled with a nice assortment of local and US goodies! Boyfriend had to help me rejig the top of the shipper so it actually closes. This behemoth of a box will be ready to ship out west tomorrow!

 

After a busy evening of beermail packing, two boxes of roughly 313oz each are heading west tomorrow. Whew!

 

My Box is ready to be cushioned, sealed, taped and labeled. Hopefully to go east tomorrow. My box is heading to a porch within a couple kilometres of two known sports facilities, one of which is unique in Canada.

 

Wow, is there a picture missing from your post? Thought the canbifs were always 12 bottle shippers flying around? Looks like your sender only sent you five? I hope a second box is on it's way via the last free shipping Tuesday today!

 

I thought the same originally but I believe that was mentioned on a earlier post that a member in Toronto was sending a 5 pack of beers using the free shipping Tuesday and a full box was coming thereafter.

 

Cool, that's a relief. These bifs are always great due to the generosity of the community here and wouldn't want to see someone get the short end of the stick with all these great boxes about to land!

 

Hoping to get my box out tonight, tomorrow at the latest - just been trying to pick up one last thing. Box is headed west, to a city known for North America's first cable TV system. Looks like I should tick off a want or two on my target's list (they stated their list is up to date)!

 

Second free box being picked up to ship today. Then a third small box of two cans where the Canada Post charge is more than twice the cost of the cans! Business is picking up for Canada Post

 

Just add more cans until beer costs more than shipping. You'll feel better about it as will your target! Haha

 

My box is fully complete. I taped and labeled this morning. I'm going to post office later that day.

 

And the boxes are away, both heading west. One with a delivery target of Friday, the other next Friday, although I suspect it will arrive sooner than that.

 

Package going westward has been delivered to CP. Approximately 270oz of all local beers.

 

I’ve entrusted the box to the fine folks at Canada Post! Should get to my westernly target by end of week, if not then definitely early next week!

How west you may ask? I’m not privy to say, just hoping my target has a “riot” with the loot, which has been aptly dubbed “The Eastern Invasion”.

 

To my sender if you haven't sent your box yet would you be able to throw in a signature required? I'm afraid with the low temperatures here in Alberta and my work hours I may have a porch bomb of alcoholic popsicles.
