I haven't had anything from them or know anyone connected to the brewery but their ratings are probably heavily inflated. Since they can't sell publicly they give/sell the beer to their friends and family which intentional or not will rate it higher because of the exclusivity and connection to the brewery

This is just flat out incorrect I know for a fact a majority of the beer they brew goes to people that are not friends and family. What did you base your assumptions on?

I'm not a friend nor am I family, and I was fortunate enough to get a few cans to try. Due North IPA was very good, it deserves the hype. Flavor profile reminiscent to that of Tree House beers rather than Trillium, not much bitterness, very smooth mouthfeel and nice fruit-filled scent and taste. All the flavors you expect from galaxy and mosaic.

Well I saw a wearer of a Vitamin Sea Brewing tshirt at the Sox game today, if that counts...

I met Dino and the guys during EBF weekend this year, happened to be at the same bar as them. Hell of a nice guy. He gave me some swag, took my address down and said he would send me some beer. Never did get the beer but a pleasure to chat with non the less.

Nice people, met a couple/few of them at Copenhagen Brewfest. They said, "Keep Your eye out, we are close"

So they ripped off Otter Creek's beer and beer name?

Seems like a large part of what Vitamin Sea does is rip off other breweries. How many brands have Keever on the payroll at this point?

To their credit, this is some The Veil level marketing. Almost 800 posts on Instagram and they've not even opened.

If the name of the brewery itself is any indication, creativity isn't really their strong suit.

If the name of the brewery was any indication then the beer would be literal hobo urine.

You guys are really being assholes here. What did they do to piss you off so much? Give them half a chance, maybe you'll find that they're bringing something positive to some people out there.

I’m confused, how did they rip Otter Creek off if they brewed theirs before Otter Creek? People just don’t do the research before they open their mouths.

So they're ripping off Tree House by using the same artist? Pretty sure this brewer is friends with the Tree House guys from the interactions I've seen. What other breweries have they ripped off?

Everyone in here is wrong. Kemp's did the first Orange Cream Dream NEIPA. Those in the know have been drinking it for years.

On topic, I had "This is my Happy Face" IPA from these guys last weekend. Very solid stuff. Seems like South Shore folks will have 16oz cans to line up for in the near future, which is nice.

    Wait.

You mean they're marketing themselves? They've outsourced their creative to a very well known and respected artist in the MA beer scene? They even made a style of beer that someone else brewed!?

This is just patently outrageous! Where do these guys get off?

(Just in case anyone can't tell, I'm kidding. Can't believe you guys are already ripping on them.)
