I had a good size pour of benthic earlier this year.....its not THAT good ha. At least not good enough to warrant the effort in these conditions. To each their own though. Good luck to every one trying to get bottles. It will be on draft for a while, and also at fobab tomorrow Id imagine. Hope black friday weather is not like this

 

I get why not everyone loves it, but I prefer it to the last couple years of BCS Prop (an example), so...line it is, I guess...


Honestly though, THEY have to fix the line speed. It's ridiculous.

 

Is it as slow as the line was for Prop Day last year? That was brutal, especially if you were at the tail end of the line.

 

So someone walked out just now and told my friend there's enough for 100 more people. That makes absolutely no sense.

 

I remember when Benthic was draft only and no one cared.

 

I think I just got the last Benthic glassware, for those who care about such things.

Wasn't the first year of Benthic on draft the same as the first year it was in bottles?

 

Line was to the blue dumpsters at 12:12.

100 people in addition to what’s in line or counting what’s in line. Because, I’ll drive over if it’s the former.

 

I have no idea. I don't trust that was an accurate statement.

Anyone know how the line is looking now?

 

In HA's defense, they have 2 stations to pay this year. But it's pretty slow.

For reference, I got in line around 10:20 or so, was halfway down Cullom, and got out of HA at 12:20, I think.

I left a bottle of Benthic for one straggler, though (bought 2); hope someone lucks out!

 

It’ll be someone grabbing their 6th bottle

 

Someone posted there's 20 cases left and more people in line than that.

If I recall this was on-site consumption only but still in bottles, but yeah. To be fair it was the first time it was released.

It's a great beer no doubt but bananas to wait in line on a day like today for it.

It looked like most people bought 3 bottles.

They also had a bunch in the cooler which was weird. Wonder if they will sell them today or it's just the cases.

 

based on the sample I had I'd say 2017 > 2016
