Been working on converting a few folks who say they hate dark beer. Of course, it's a lot easier when you have a brew like this. Super smooth, and creamy with a nice dose of coffee that isn't forced or an after thought. If I may be so bold: this is the best coffee beer I've had of the 2017-18 stout season, and it'll be incredibly tough to beat even after pondering through last year's entries. I wonder if I should even brag for it, or if I should just go ahead and go buy a case for myself. I'll step off my soap box (reluctantly) and get back to the last chapter of Stranger Things now. What is up. I'm deep into a case of PBR tonight. A buddy of mine is in town for the weekend. He brought his wife. She is a very nice person, but she has never in her life stopped talking. Not for a second. Ever. She has never not been in the middle of a sentence. I'm typing this from my bathroom because I wanted to get away for a while. I can still hear her. I don't really have a larger point, I just wanted to share. Well I guess it's time to flush and get back out there. Cheers everybody.

Sorry, but I'm prior USCG and ery Marine I ever met loves us, and honestly, I gotta admit - I love ery Marine I ever met. Even as a Coastie, I somehow have started taking offense to people calling them "jarheads." They ain't jarheads to me. They're my brothers in arms.

Now having Jester King/18th St. Multifarious--smoked farmhouse stout. Very drinkable and balanced, especially to go with a smoked bacon filled meatloaf.



Head was a little unwieldy at first but carbonation is actually light.

 

Weather outside says it’s time for the first Cele of the season. At just under a month, probably the freshest I’ve had in several years. It’s a good one.
