Bright side, some one else will get a chance to chase their dreams, using the discounted equipment. I liked Amnesia, on the rare occasion I had to have their brews.

Closing or not, brewery name still checks out.

I hope everyone in the operations lands on their feet, at least.

Never understood why they moved to Camas. The original location on Mississippi always had a good crowd.

I always liked Amnesia, solid beer and pretty good food. Was just there a few days ago. Apparently they will stay open as a taproom and smokehouse just under a different name.

Agreed. Wasn't a huge fan of their beer (didn't dislike it, just wasn't a huge fan), but the location on Mississippi was pretty nice and seemed to always be pretty popular. I was pretty surprised as well when they moved.

I sure did like some Copacetic back in the day, though the move to Camas took them completely off my radar. Too bad it couldn't work out.

On another note, apparently Ross Island Brewing is looking to get out and they're barely a year in. Unlike the original Amnesia, the location is terrible though and it sounds like that's the issue. It's too bad since their emphasis was on British styles, which makes them unique. It's not hip or sexy, but like Occidental and Heater Allen perhaps they could've carved out a little niche in the scene.
