Make collaborations great again

 

I guess I'm in the minority, I thought AIE was meh, especially compared to DDH Citra+Galaxy from that weekend which was fantastic.

 

I am hoping for a very chill Thanksgiving release with a double batch of a returning favorite like DMD.

 

I didn't get the crazy melon from AIE, or any especially awesome hop flavors. I'm not calling anyone on here a liar, but now I think my mouth may be broken and will be seeking medical attention for that.

And YES let's have some classics come out before the holidays please! Collabs are great but I miss my old friends too.

 

Some interesting stuff coming out

DDH Double Mosaic Daydream: 8.5% Double dry hopped imperial oat IPA w / mosaic, lactose sugar + oats. 1/6 275

DDH Mylar Daydream: 8% Imperial oat cream IPA w / amarillo, citra, galaxy, mosaic, lactose, oats, citra + mosaic lupulin powder. 1/6 $275

Florida Plates: 8.3% J WAKEFIELD Collaboration - Imperial spelt cream IPA w / citra, simcoe, peach + pineapple. 1/6 $275

Snowbirds: 10% J WAKEFIELD Collaboration - Imperial stout w / chocolate hazelnut mole. 1/6 $275

 

I'm guessing with just 4 beers that there is no mid-week release. Bummed as I wanted to stock up on something before I head home to Ohio for a week. At least I have the Interboro Thursday drop to rely on.

This is a nice release though. Two classics and two new collabs.

I most certainly will need to try this!

 

Hopefully it's not as bad as their last stout collab. Cane Life (sans Ancho Chile variant) was a disaster

 

I'd like to see the stout put in cans.

Mylar daydream is new, right? I want cans without lactose...

 

J Wakefield stout isn't dropping this week, almost positive. DDH Mylar Daydream sounds dope but I'm going to miss it.

 

Really hoping for lower limits to become standardized so I don't have to wake up at an unreasonable hour to pick up. DDH DMDD is still my favorite OH, so I don't want to miss it. Daydream Mylar Bags will surely be good too. The J Wakefield collabs looks interesting too. A stout with mole? Sign me up!

This. Its going into barrels or bottles for conditioning/aging i think they said, but i could be wrong.

Pretty sure its in bottles for conditioning, think its supposed to drop around Christmas time or the new year from what I heard.

yeah the lactose trend is really annoying, and its not just OH...

 

I’m wondering if it’s a “Hop-Contract” type situation where they had to order a lot of lactose sugar at once and they are trying to go through it all as fast as possible.

 

People on Facebook mad that Other Half is undercutting their raffles by selling the tekus online
