What beer are you drinking now? #1850

My observation was that the Extra Stout was sweeter than the 200th. 200th had better head retention, and creamier mouthfeel. 200th's flavor was a little richer, a bit more cocoa. To me, the 200th was definitely superior.

Yep, that was always my problem as well with allergies. Since we've had them as kittens I swear I developed an immunity. Have always not liked cats and that's one of the biggest reasons why. We also have some robust air filtration which helps, people who visit here are always surprised because they expect that typical "cat odor". Here in this house? Nada. (We vacuum every day and they're not allowed in the bedrooms.) It's well controlled and we stay on top of it. All three of our cats act like dogs, they are super social and love being around / interacting with people. (I don't think they're cats. !!!)

 

We've only gotten to page 5? What has happened my beer peeps?

Many thanks to @superspak for this Michigan-born treat. I think I may have gotten the bottom of the fermenter though, as I've got tons of sediment, chunks, and yeast.

Either way, it's a drinkable beer. Tasty, nice apricots...falls off after the initial flavor, but it has a nice fruity bite.

Having an Exile Ruthie Gold Lager.

 

It's been a couple years since I've had this beer. The smell and taste ate really strong peach and apricot right now. I didn't review it previously, but I remember it being more citrus.

 

I'm right there with you, Jeff! Someone needs to keep this thread afloat.

 

Yep usally more grapefruit & tangerine to me...

 

Some times it's about the journey. I try not to buy that one stored at room temp ( In Missouri, usually )
