    Up today is some Vermont goodness that my coworker was so generous to bring home with him after spending the weekend in Stowe for his birthday..Skadoosh by The Alchemist..a nice hoppy APA with just a hint of black pepper...good stuff..cheers!!

    Good morning BA
    I am sampling my saison aged on cherries that has been in the bottle four months now.

    It has elements of wine as well as saison. It's come a long way as the first sample three months ago had an alcohol taste and heat that made it almost undrinkable. My package of Belle Saison yeast really heroed up and took the base beer to 1.004, which I did know when I added the cherries and candi sugar. I still have half of last Spring's cherry "crop" frozen for a spring cherry wheat beer. Enjoy what's in your glass today BA!

    I love Founders Breakfast Stout but don't drink nearly as much as I used to because I can't find fresher batches around here. Don't get me wrong, this 08/25/17 batch is still very good, but I crave some in your face coffee sometimes.

    Going to rake some leaves after this as it looks like more rain is in the forecast. Cheers people!
